It is a lovely day to be out and our chickens have a little more freedom now the avian flu risk level has been reduced. It is not just humans who have had to isolate. Everything is growing like mad and there is lots to do in the garden. We have been doing some major pruning and have lots of stuff to get rid of. Due to COVID I have to book a slot at the dump, but at least there is not much of a queue when I get there.
We have not got organised with planting anything yet, but things like rhubarb and berries will come anyway.
The chickens are fine. There were four eggs yesterday, but one was broken. Sometimes they have a thin shell. I have put some ground up shells in their food to boost their calcium.
Enjoy your weekend.
