AFRI-TUNES WEEK #106/ REASON WITH ME BY RUDEBOY/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨

Hello Afri-tunes community, welcome to week #106 of our weekly contest. I trust everyone is doing okay. For this week I'd be performing the secular song as suggested in the community, I'd be covering "Reason with me" by Rudeboy. Rudeboy is one of the duos from P-square who separated to go solo, thankfully they are back together now (identical twins we've always known and loved)😊.

The song was released in the year 2019 and I've always loved listening to the song due to the lovely rhythm and groove of the song. I personally also like the message it tries to pass across. The song is basically a man professing his love towards his love interest, but she doesn't see him as deserving of love. Ever heard the saying "broke guys don't deserve love"?. This is exactly the situation in the song. He tries to make her see reason that he is trying his best, and working to make his life better and change his situation, he pleads with her to reason with him but she doesn't oblige. He tries to make her know that his future is bright, not having today doesn't mean he won't have more than enough tomorrow. Sadly she doesn't believe all he says because he doesn't t look like it presently. It's really sad and lonely for men who are struggling especially in this part of the world, nobody would want to be associated with you when you're broke. Like men are not trying as much as they could. No one wants to be there with you through the storms and hardships but only want to be there when you're made and successful which is really sad. It's really lonely at the bottom. I just want to urge us here not to look down on anybody irrespective of their current situation, nobody knows tomorrow and I do believe the future is bright so long as you work towards it, it's only a matter of time. Reason with that guy/girl, support, be kind, believe in them. As long as they're trying their best to change their situation, stick with them. People deserve a chance at least, don't write anyone off. I do hope you all enjoy 🎧 my cover of this record, have a great week 😊.

Hola comunidad de Afri-tunes, bienvenidos a la semana 106 de nuestro concurso semanal. Confío en que todos estén bien. Para esta semana interpretaría la canción secular como lo sugirió la comunidad, haría un cover de "Reason with me" de Rudeboy. Rudeboy es uno de los dúos de P-square que se separaron para ir en solitario, afortunadamente ahora están juntos de nuevo (gemelos idénticos que siempre hemos conocido y amado)😊.

La canción se lanzó en el año 2019 y siempre me ha encantado escucharla debido al hermoso ritmo y ritmo de la canción. Personalmente, también me gusta el mensaje que intenta transmitir. La canción es básicamente un hombre que profesa su amor hacia su interés amoroso, pero ella no lo ve como merecedor de amor. ¿Alguna vez escuchaste el dicho "los chicos en quiebra no merecen amor"? Esta es exactamente la situación en la canción. Él trata de hacerle entrar en razón que está haciendo todo lo posible y trabajando para mejorar su vida y cambiar su situación; le ruega que razone con él, pero ella no lo hace. Él trata de hacerle saber que su futuro es brillante, que no tener hoy no significa que no tendrá más que suficiente mañana. Lamentablemente, ella no cree todo lo que dice porque no lo parece en este momento. Es realmente triste y solitario para los hombres que están pasando apuros, especialmente en esta parte del mundo, nadie querría estar asociado contigo cuando estás arruinado. Como si los hombres no se esforzaran tanto como podrían. Nadie quiere estar ahí contigo durante las tormentas y las dificultades, sino que sólo quiere estar ahí cuando estés hecho y tengas éxito, lo cual es realmente triste. Es realmente solitario el fondo. Sólo quiero instarnos a no menospreciar a nadie, independientemente de su situación actual, nadie sabe el mañana y creo que el futuro es brillante mientras trabajemos para lograrlo, es sólo cuestión de tiempo. Razona con ese chico/chica, apóyalo, sé amable, cree en él. Mientras hagan todo lo posible para cambiar su situación, quédate con ellos. La gente merece al menos una oportunidad, no descartes a nadie. Espero que todos disfruten 🎧 mi versión de este disco, que tengan una gran semana 😊.
