Johnny Drille is known for his creativity and unique songs which are usually melodious to the ears and pleasing to the soul. He is known for his amazing tones and his ability to swoon the ladies, he released the song "Believe Me" on the 11th of April, 2023 under Mavin Records, and the label’s CEO, Don Jazzy, also added his unique voice to the track, which made it more melodious.

John Ighodaro popularly known as Johnny Drille was born and raised in Edo State, Nigeria. He started his singing career in Church and went on to compete in the sixth season of MTN Project Fame West Africa in 2013. He is widely known for his amazing voice, his beautiful love songs and his mesmerizing clean lyrics.

His musical style defies the Nigerian idea of music which makes him unique. He released his debut single Wait for Me in 2015 and it was nominated for the Best Alternative Song category at the Headies 2016. He is known for his other tracks like Romeo and Juliet, Papa, Dear Future Wife, How are You (My Friend), Journey of Our Lives, My beautiful love, and Halleluya feat simi, amongst others.

The lyrics of the song "Believe me" is quite clear as it talks about his love for a simple girl called Anwuli. He talks about his undying love for her and how long he has waited for them to become a thing. He talks about the fact that he would never deceive her and she in turn should not deceive him. He goes on to say that his love for her would be greater than her love for him and he wants to her believe his words truthfully and not doubt it.

Johnny Drille doesn’t disappoint with his lyrics which are always simple, clean and pleasing to the ears.
