This is another week in our lovely Afri-tunes Community, a community that fosters and spreads love on Hive blockchain through our African Tunes and music.
This is week 30 of our musical event in the Community.
Among the litany of things I love about Hive, one of them relates to the fact that I get to listen to and learn new songs. Can you imagine that I rarely listen to music except if I want to present or play somewhere?
You know, I am a quack musician, right? (Your answer should be NO, don't agree with me!)
Two weeks ago and some days ago @sholex94 and @marybello presented a song on Afri-tunes. It wasn't a collaboration though, but at different intervals. Who knows, maybe you two can Collabo (winks).
Listening to the song, I felt deeply in love with it (coughs) Love at first sight hear (infatuation loading).
Well, I loved many things about it, from its melody to the meaning of the words of the lyrics.
The song is titled, "DADDY WEY DEY PAMPER" by a Nigerian Gospel artist called Moses Bliss. Okay, for those who don't know, the title of the song is written in Pidgin English. In Normal English it would be something like: "A Father who shows excess Love."
Well, I'm not a "pidgin translator" expert, I believe other great translators will do justice to the translation in the comment section.
The song speaks about the excess love God showers upon us amidst our sin, amidst our weaknesses, failures and shortcomings. He still blessds us; He still shows us mercy. Truly, this Daddy sabi Pamper well well ooo.
Alright, so much for the talk-talk, I hope you enjoy my guitar cover, because YES! This Daddy don too Pamper me well well.
Special thanks to starstrings01 obaro and every supporters of this great community. KSAM loves you all.
I ❤ LOVE YOU ALL
