Hello, Hive Community! Luis Laguna's tramao... This is perhaps the topic to which I owe more things. About 4 or 5 years ago I graduated from the music school where I studied, then I was invited to a sharing of the day of kings, a January 6. There I met many former students of the school and I got to play for a while with them and this was the song that made, in part, that I got to where I am. A man named Pedro Rivas wanted to play it and I didn't know it by heart but I did have the sheet music, I took it out and started to play. From that moment on and when I finished the song Pedro told me that he was going to talk to a man who could help me to continue advancing. In those days I was a little discouraged not having a teacher and the one who had given me lessons told me that he had nothing to teach me.

Gaston Garcia, my teacher. A lady, a friend of my mom's, had called him to see if he could give me lessons, but it was when Pedro called that he decided to listen to me, from that moment on I started taking lessons from him and honestly I have not learned with anyone as much as with him, he is a friend, a father, a teacher, my teacher specifically and I do not use that word lightly. I will give you some context, in music a teacher with a masterful excellence is called a maestro, to be called a maestro in the musical field you must be impeccable, normally we see that many students say that word, "Maestro", and that's fine, however, even if they are I could not consider them my teachers because a maestro teaches his student in an integral way, he is more than just his teacher who goes and gives him classes once a week or month. In the end you always stay with those who have marked you in life, for better or for worse, this is a good mark, in my technique, in my expressiveness, in my humanity. That is why I consider that I have only had two teachers in my life, my solfeggio teacher Raquel (+) and Gastón.

I may not have talked as much about it as I did about what she did for me, but these are the things that in life you have to recognize and be grateful for.
