First day of O Sol da Caparica Music Festival 2022

Heyho guys, all good? I wanna share with you today the first impressions of the festival. Just filmed a bit to present you.
But wait, what a festival am I talking about?

O Sol da Caparica is an annual music festival held in Caparica, district Almada, Portugal, celebrating the best music from Portuguese-speaking countries around the world. This festival is usually held right in Costa da Caparica. This year, 2022, in the nearby park or large park area.

In my opinion, by Corona was now 2 years radio silence since no large events were allowed to take place. That means finally after what feels like an eternity, you can go back to festivals, which also take place.

We have rented in the nearby hostel "Surf Nomads" to be able to be the weekend directly on site. Whether more posts from the festival come I do not know. Normally I do not take valuables to such events so also noooo cell phone or camera. But I wanted to show you some shots in advance and from the beginning of the festival.

The first pictures show the construction 1, 2 days before it started.

Here now some impressions from the bird's eye view, so you can see the number of people already very well. You can imagine that the queues of people went through all the side streets. It was unbelievably full. Thank God we can enjoy this view in the hostel.

The crowd is incredible. Soooo many people come together to celebrate a great time, music and life by itself. Fantastico.

I wasn't able to take sooo many pics cause everywhere were people!!! So hopefully you forgive me for that. I was trying to take care that no direct faces came into my photos but this was a hard challenge. 😅😎
