Atardecer - Luis Laguna. Guitar & mandolin Duo (Feat @Guitarmcy)

     ¡Hola, comunidad de HIVE! Disculpen mi ausencia, llevo como un mes sin hacer publicaciones porque no poseo internet y me cuesta publicar con datos móviles. Pero les preparamos algo para ustedes, hoy les traigo “atardecer” de Luis Laguna.

      @guitarmcy. A él lo conocí en la Orquesta “Henry Rubio”, a la que pertenecemos, esta queda en San Juan de los morros, Estado Guárico. Desde un principio me llamó mucho la atención la forma de tocar de él, ya que, usualmente las guitarras no se escuchan, pero él sí se oía. Para mí algo increíble. A medida que fuimos viajando íbamos tocando juntos una que otra pieza y nos fuimos conociendo musicalmente.

      Nuestros gustos musicales son parecidos y tenemos buena conexión para hacer música, hemos tocado juntos muchísimas veces pero jamás nos habíamos podido reunir a grabar algo, absolutamente nada.

      Ahora, llegamos a este hermoso tema, una joya. En el último viaje que tuvimos a calabozo pues nos pidieron una muestra y nosotros hicimos esta canción y ¡wow! Me encantó como sonó. El trasfondo y la importancia de este tema se lo dieron ese momento, un momento que tocamos libremente, fuera de tiempo y de toda métrica pero con una sincronía tan increíble que para mí era un momento lleno de demasiadas emociones. El tema expresaba al principio una gran tristeza, llegando a un climax que comenzaba con alegría y tal cual como un atardecer se iba apagando hasta llegar la noche. Nuestra sincronía no llegaba a ser pisar las mismas notas al mismo tiempo, sino a llegar a expresar y sentir lo mismo en una sola nota. Son momentos así que me hacen decir con orgullo que somos músicos.

      Como he hablado antes de la expresividad, es algo tan difícil de alcanzar… y para mí llegar a eso individualmente es complejo, pero hacerlo con un acompañante es aún más difícil, requiere un entendimiento superior entre dos personas. Les digo, este posiblemente sea el principio de un buen dúo porque músicos como Luis no se encuentran todos los días, sólo con decirles que es un tema que grabamos en una sola toma, sin necesidad de repetir, de parar, de tomar un descanso, ni siquiera la ensayamos y a esto me refiero con la conexión y sincronía, poder entenderse aún sin decir una palabra.

      @guitarmcy es una persona extraordinaria, también es muy culto y quizá es el mejor músico, porque dicen que el mejor músico es con el que uno puede contar. Hoy los dejo con eso, un tema que para mí es hermoso y representa muchas cosas.

       Now, we come to this beautiful song, a gem. In the last trip we had to calabozo they asked us for a sample and we did this song and wow! I loved how it sounded. The background and the importance of this theme was given by that moment, a moment that we played freely, out of time and out of all metrics but with such an incredible synchrony that for me it was a moment full of too many emotions. The theme expressed at the beginning a great sadness, reaching a climax that began with joy and just like a sunset it was fading away until the night came. Our synchrony was not to step on the same notes at the same time, but to express and feel the same thing in a single note. It is moments like these that make me proud to say that we are musicians.

       As I have spoken before about expressiveness, it is something so difficult to reach... and for me to reach that individually is complex, but to do it with an accompanist is even more difficult, it requires a superior understanding between two people. I tell you, this is possibly the beginning of a good duo because musicians like Luis are not found every day, just to tell you that this is a song that we recorded in one take, without the need to repeat, to stop, to take a break, we didn't even rehearse it, and this is what I mean by connection and synchrony, to be able to understand each other even without saying a word.

       @guitarmcy is an extraordinary person, he is also very cultured and perhaps he is the best musician, because they say that the best musician is the one you can count on. Today I leave you with that, a song that for me is beautiful and represents many things.
