Hello community, we have reached week 7 of this wonderful initiative by @stefy.music: creating a space exclusively dedicated to sharing hymns of adoration and praise to our Creator.


This week the proposed theme is "Abba, Father". When I saw what it was about, I immediately connected with the parable of the prodigal son, the one in which a young man asks his father to give him his inheritance now, to inherit it in life. With that money he leaves his parents' house, goes "to explore the world" and dedicates himself - as they say now - to living "the crazy life". When money is squandered and disappears, false and interested friends also disappear. He is poor, alone and far from his homeland.
He returns repentant and the father does not receive him with a "Did you see? I told you so" but with a generous welcome hug and - without any reproach - celebrates his return.


Many times we distance ourselves from our Father because of things that we think, that we say, that we do or by not doing or saying what we should, but when we realize our error we feel bad, and distanced from the Father because of the sin that we put in the way. we feel alone. It is when, encouraged by repentance, we return to Him, to recover our relationship with Him. That is the moment described in the song "Father, I return to You" and it can be not only a song but "our prayer of return." I hope it is a blessing for your lives.

Hola, comunidad, llegamos a la semana 7 de esta maravillosa iniciativa de @stefy.music: crear un espacio exclusivamente dedicado a compartir himnos de adoración y alabanza a nuestro Creador.


Esta semana la temática propuesta es "Abba, Padre". Cuando vi de qué se trataba de inmediato me conecté con la parábola del hijo pródigo, esa en que un joven le pide a su progenitor que le entregue su herencia ya, para heredarlo en vida. Con ese dinero deja la casa paterna, se va a "correr mundo" y se dedica - como se dice ahora - a vivir "la vida loca". Cuando se dilapida el dinero y este desaparece, también desaparecen los falsos e interesados amigos. Se encuentra pobre, sólo y lejos de su tierra natal.
Regresa arrepentido y el padre no lo recibe con un "¿Viste? Yo te lo dije" sino con generoso abrazo de bienvenida y - sin reproche alguno - hace fiesta por su regreso.


Muchas veces nos alejamos de nuestro Padre por cosas que pensamos, que decimos, que hacemos o por no hacer o decir lo que debiéramos, pero cuando caemos en cuenta de nuestro error nos sentimos mal, y alejados del Padre por el pecado que interpusimos en medio nos sentimos solos. Es cuando, animados por el arrepentimiento volvemos a Él, a recuperar nuestra relación con Él. Ese es el momento descrito en la canción "Padre, vuelvo a Tí" y puede ser no sólo un canto sino "nuestra oración del regreso". Espero sea de bendición para sus vidas.
