Hello community, we have reached week 8 of this wonderful initiative by @stefy.music: creating a space exclusively dedicated to sharing songs dedicated to our Lord. A space for a special encounter with Him and a special sharing between those of us who make music on the platform and live our lives trying to be ever closer to Him.

First of all I want to invite three friends to share with us their way of praising God through music:

This week the proposed theme is "Gratitude". What is gratitude? It is that feeling that we create towards someone who has done us good, a feeling that impels us to do good to them as soon as we have the opportunity.

It is super ultra clear that the greatest gratitude we can and should feel and act accordingly is towards our God. Why? Because He is the One who has given us everything we possess from the very moment of our conception, when there was still a long time left for us to become aware of our own existence.

Gratitude is highly regarded in the Kingdom of God and ingratitude is marked as something negative. As highlighted in the Gospel when Jesus heals ten lepers and only one thanks Him.

The first commandment whose fulfillment implies earning a reward is the one that says "Honor your father and your mother" and the reward is "so that your days may be long in the land that Jehovah, your God, gives you."

This is a commandment based on gratitude since among the humans to whom we owe the most gratitude is our parents.

There are many beautiful examples of gratitude in the Bible. It was out of gratitude that Ruth, the Moabite, remained at Naomi's side. Becoming great-grandmother of King David.

Gratitude is, therefore, a noble feeling that inspires us to perform noble acts. It was gratitude that inspired the song that I bring to share with you: "I praise your goodness", an inspiring song, a praise of gratitude with deep roots in love.

I heard it for the first time on a cassette, several decades ago, and every time I hear it or sing it it is a great blessing.

Hola, comunidad, llegamos a la semana 8 de esta maravillosa iniciativa de @stefy.music: crear un espacio exclusivamente dedicado a compartir canciones dedicadas a nuestro Señor. Un espacio de especial encuentro con Él y especial compartir entre quienes hacemos música en la plataforma y hacemos vida tratando de estar cada vez más cerca de Él.

Ante todo deseo invitar a tres amigos a compartir su forma de alabar a Dios a través de la música:

Esta semana la temática propuesta es "Gratitud". ¿Qué es la gratitud? Es ese sentimiento que creamos hacia alguien que nos ha hecho un bien, sentimiento que nos impele a hacerle bien también apenas tengamos oportunidad.

Queda super ultra requete sobreentendido que la mayor gratitud que podemos y debemos sentir y obrar en consecuencia es hacia nuestro Dios ¿Por qué? Porque es Quien nos ha dado todo lo que poseemos desde el mismo momento de nuestra concepción, cuando aún faltaba muchísimo tiempo para que tomáramos conciencia de nuestro propia existencia.

La gratitud es muy bien vista en el Reino de Dios y la ingratitud señalada como algo negativo. Como se resalta en el Evangelio cuando Jesús sana a diez leprosos y sólo uno le da las gracias.

El primer mandamiento cuyo cumplimiento lleva implícito hacerse acreedor de un premio es el que dice "Honra a tu padre y a tu madre" y el premio es "para que tus días sean largos qen la tierra que Jehová, tu Dios te da"

Este es un mandamiento basado en la gratitud ya que entre los humanos a quienes debemos mayor gratitud es a nuestros padres.

En la Biblia hay muchos hermosos ejemplos de gratitud. Fue por gratitud que Rut, la moabita, permaneciera al lado de Nohemí. Llegando a ser bisabuela del Rey David.

La gratitud es, pues, un sentimiento noble que nos inspira a realizar actos nobles. Fue la gratitud lo que inspiró el canto que traigo para compartir con ustedes: "Alabo tu bondad", un canto inspirador, una alabanza de gratitud con profundas raíces en el amor.

Lo escuché por primera vez en un cassette, hace varias décadas, y siempre que lo oigo o canto es de gran bendición.
