Today I am filled with so many emotions with everything that is happening around the world. Yesterday in the news it was confirmed that the Russia-Ukraine crisis is intensifying. It hurts so much to know that lives and being lost in this struggle for power.

Looking at a lot of countries in the world, there are internal strifes and wars going on. Innocent people are losing their lives, families are losing loved ones, communities are losing members. I cannot begin to express how much pain people are going through.

I try to keep a positive outlook, energy, and attitude but sometimes it’s all overwhelming. I have learned to express how I feel through singing and escape the madness through music. I can’t even begin to stress how crucial this theme for this week is.

In line with this week’s theme, “Conversacion Con Dios” meaning “Conversation with God”, this song resonated in my heart and soul. It is a note I am writing to God through my voice and I asking Him to help us find a way, to replace hate with love, to end the wars, to use peace to repair this broken world. We need strength now more than ever, mentally, physically, emotionally, and otherwise.

Hoy estoy llena de tantas emociones con todo lo que está pasando alrededor del mundo. Ayer en las noticias se confirmó que la crisis Rusia-Ucrania se intensifica. Duele mucho saber que se están perdiendo vidas en esta lucha por el poder.

Si observamos muchos países del mundo, hay luchas y guerras internas. Personas inocentes pierden la vida, las familias pierden a sus seres queridos, las comunidades pierden miembros. No puedo ni empezar a expresar el dolor por el que está pasando la gente.

Intento mantener una perspectiva, una energía y una actitud positivas, pero a veces todo es abrumador. He aprendido a expresar lo que siento cantando y a escapar de la locura a través de la música. No puedo ni empezar a subrayar lo crucial que es este tema para esta semana.

En línea con el tema de esta semana, "Conversación Con Dios " que significa "Conversación con Dios ", esta canción resonó en mi corazón y en mi alma. Es una nota que le escribo a Dios a través de mi voz y le pido que nos ayude a encontrar un camino, a sustituir el odio por el amor, a acabar con las guerras, a utilizar la paz para reparar este mundo roto. Necesitamos fuerza ahora más que nunca, mentalmente, físicamente, emocionalmente y de otra manera.

Voy a interpretar una canción de Charice Pempengco titulada Nota a Dios. Mientras escuchan esta canción, lean la letra y conviértanla en una oración.
