Muy buenas tardes amigos de hive hoy les traigo la nota completa y el reporte de daños que dejó el huracán lidia el pasado 10 de octubre del 2023 en el estado de Colima y cercanías.

What happened in Colima and nearby states on October 10?

Good afternoon friends of hive today I bring you the complete note and the report of damages left by hurricane Lidia last October 10, 2023 in the state of Colima and nearby states.

Desde muy temprano por la mañana empezaron a circular múltiples alertas que recomendaban a los ciudadanos resguardarse en sus domicilios esto debido a la alta probabilidad de impacto del huracán lidia el cual se pronosticaba que llegaría a ser categoría 4.

La mañana del pasado 10 de octubre transcurrió con tranquilidad pero con muchas nubes y un poco de lluvia, acercándonos a las 2 de la tarde la lluvia cada vez se hacía más fuerte y con vientos ligeros.

Early in the morning, multiple alerts began to circulate recommending citizens to take shelter in their homes due to the high probability of impact of Hurricane Lidia, which was predicted to become a category 4 hurricane.

The morning of October 10 passed calmly but with many clouds and a little rain, approaching 2 o'clock in the afternoon the rain became stronger and stronger and with light winds.

Una vez llegadas las 6 la tarde es cuando el huracán empezaba a tocar tierra con más firmeza, los vientos, lluvia y ríos de agua en las calles cada vez eran peores.

Cuando la noche cayó nos encontrábamos en el ojo del huracán, en este momento ya eran las 9 de la noche y las calles en su mayoría ya se encontraban completamente deshabilitadas, la gobernadora del estado repitió constantemente que era de suma importancia permanecer fuera de las calles y prepararse con velas y comida debido a los posibles pérdidas de electricidad.

Once we reached 6 pm is when the hurricane began to make landfall more firmly, the winds, rain and rivers of water in the streets were getting worse.

Durante las 9 y 10 de la noche circularon múltiples videos donde se podía ver los daños que ya había ocasionado el huracán, calles llenas de lodo, carros siendo arrastrados por la fuerza del agua y ríos que se salieron completamente de control debido a la gran cantidad de agua que el huracán había dejado a su paso.

During the 9 and 10 p.m. hours, multiple videos circulated showing the damage already caused by the hurricane, streets full of mud, cars being swept away by the force of the water and rivers that got completely out of control due to the large amount of water that the hurricane had left in its path.

Lugares como marabasco, llegaron a tener casas con al menos metro y medio de agua dentro de ellas, en colima se reportaron múltiples carros arrastrados por el agua, calles llenas de piedras, árboles caídos, incluso se tuvo que cerrar las compuertas de agua de la zona villa de Alvares como prevención esto debido al gran volumen de agua que se había alojado en ellas.

Places such as Marabasco had houses with at least one and a half meters of water inside them, in Colima multiple cars were reported swept away by the water, streets full of stones, fallen trees, and even the water gates of the Villa de Alvares area had to be closed as a prevention due to the large volume of water that had lodged in them.

En otros estamos como Jalisco, se respetan hospitales inundados, tiendas completamente fuera de servicio debido a la gran cantidad de agua que entró.

Por fortuna no se reportan fallecidos, pero los estragos provocados fueran más notorios esta mañana.

In other states, such as Jalisco, hospitals were flooded and stores were completely out of service due to the large amount of water that entered.

Fortunately, no deaths have been reported, but the damage caused was more noticeable this morning.

Se pronostica otro huracán en estos días, esto también debido a que en esta parte del mundo estamos en temporada de huracán es y no sería la primera vez que pase esto.
