I've been watching the creations of other users and I've been delighted. Today I want to show you how to make a bracelet with five-strand knots with terlenka thread and beads or costume jewelry stones. Let's see the materials and the step by step.

He estado viendo las creaciones de otros usuarios y he quedado encantada. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles cómo realizar una pulsera con nudos de cinco vueltas con hilo de terlenka y cuentas o piedras de bisutería. Veamos los materiales y el paso a paso.

We will need / Vamos a necesitar:

1 ½ m. of terlenka thread, stones and decorative beads, straw, scissors and lighter.

1 ½ m. de Hilo de terlenka, piedras y cuentas decorativas, pitillo, tijera y encendedor.

We begin by making our channel necessary to make the knots. This can be done with a straw or a pencil. We are going to cut about 2 cm from the straw and then we make some cuts so that it looks like this.

Iniciamos realizando nuestra canaleta necesaria para crear los nudos. Ésta la podemos hacer con un pitillo o con un lapicero. Vamos a recortar unos 2 cm del pitillo y luego le hacemos unos cortes para que quede de la siguiente manera.

With the help of a lighter we are going to sharpen the tips of the thread to make it more comfortable to work with.

Con la ayuda de un encendedor vamos a afinar las puntas del hilo para que sea más cómodo trabajar con él.

To make the first knot we are going to pass the yarn through the channel, then we make five turns to the left over the piece in this way, now we pass the end of the yarn through the channel and pull from bottom to top, as we can see in the image. It is necessary to press the knot to the left until it is very firm.

Para hacer el primer nudo vamos a pasar el hilo por la canaleta, luego hacemos cinco vueltas hacia la izquierda por encima de la pieza de esta manera, ahora pasamos el extremo del hilo por la canaleta y halamos de abajo hacia arriba, como podemos apreciar en la imagen. Es necesario presionar el nudo hacia la izquierda hasta que quede bien firme.

I chose pink beads with an imitation marble stone for this bracelet. Let's start with one of the ends, placing a small bead. We already know how to tie a five-strand knot, but we can also tie a four-strand knot if we like.

Yo elegí unas cuentas rosadas con una piedra imitación de mármol para esta pulsera. Vamos a comenzar con uno de los extremos, colocando una cuenta pequeña. Ya sabemos cómo hacer el nudo de cinco vueltas, se puede hacer también de cuatro vueltas si es nuestro gusto.

At about four centimeters we make a knot to make the central part of the bracelet, then we place a larger bead and fasten with a knot. We are going to place four stones in a row.

A unos cuatro centímetros hacemos un nudo para realizar la parte central de la pulsera, luego colocamos una cuenta más grande y sujetamos con un nudo. Vamos a colocar cuatro piedras seguidas.

Afterwards, we place the central square piece and fasten it with a knot. Here we can see again how this technique is done.

Posteriormente, colocamos la pieza central cuadrada y sujetamos igualmente con un nudo. Aquí podemos volver a ver cómo se realiza esta técnica.

It remains to place the other four beads to finish the central part of the bead.

Resta colocar las otras cuatro cuentas para finalizar la parte central.

We are going to make the other end in a similar way to the previous one, placing a small stone and adjusting it.

It only remains to remove the excess thread and create a locking mechanism for the bracelet. We cut off the excess and carefully burn with a lighter.

Vamos a realizar el otro extremo de forma similar al anterior, colocándole una piedra pequeña y ajustando.

Solo falta eliminar los excedentes de hilo y crear un mecanismo de cierre para la pulsera. Recortamos los excedentes y quemamos cuidadosamente con un encendedor.

For the locking mechanism we superimpose the ends on the channel and place a piece of thread to make a knot that wraps everything. We adjust making sure that the ends maintain the mobility towards all sides. Finally we burn the excess being careful not to touch the ends of the bracelet.

Para el mecanismo de cierre superponemos los extremos sobre la canaleta y colocamos un trozo de hilo para realizar un nudo que envuelva todo. Ajustamos cerciorándonos de que los extremos mantengan la movilidad hacia todos los costados. Finalmente quemamos los excedentes con cuidado de no tocar los extremos de la pulsera.
