Hello, Hive Diy community! I hope you all are feeling great. This time I want to show you a new craft tutorial with recycled materials. This is a pencil holder, a drink cup and a mini planter made from beverage cans. Join me to see the step by step.

¡Hola, comunidad de Hive Diy! Espero que se encuentren muy bien. En esta ocasión deseo mostrarles un nuevo tutorial de manualidades con materiales reciclados. Se trata de una lapicera, un vaso para bebidas y un mini matero realizados con latas de bebidas. Acompáñenme a ver el paso a paso.

Materials needed ǀ Materiales necesarios:

Beverage cans, sheets of shiny eva rubber, liquid silicone and scissors, decorative stickers.

Latas de bebidas, láminas de foamy brillante, silicón líquido y tijera, etiquetas decorativas.

We start by removing the tops of the cans by rubbing them against a rough surface. We carve until the top comes off easily. It is important to sand the edges so that they are not sharp.

Iniciamos retirando los topes de las latas mediante fricción contra una superficie áspera. Vamos tallando hasta que el tope se desprenda fácilmente. Es importante lijar los bordes para que estos no sean cortantes.

First we are going to make a pencil holder, for this we are going to cut the eva robber to obtain squares of about 4.5 cm in both black and white to make a checkered design on our tin.

Primero vamos a realizar un portalápices, para ello vamos a recortar el foamy para obtener cuadros de unos 4,5 cm tanto de color negro como de color blanco para hacer un diseño ajedrezado en nuestra lata.

With the help of liquid silicone, we will glue the squares to the surface of the can, alternating black and white until the whole design is completed.

Con la ayuda de silicón líquido, vamos a pegar los cuadros a la superficie de la lata, intercalando blancos y negros hasta completar todo el diseño.

Now we are going to turn this can into a glass where we can place our favorite drinks. I put a Hive sticker on it as a decoration. The good thing about this material is that it maintains the temperature of the liquids for a longer time, whether they are hot or cold.

Ahora vamos a convertir esta lata en un vaso donde podemos colocar nuestras bebidas favoritas. Yo le coloqué una etiqueta de Hive como adorno. Lo bueno de este material es que mantiene por más tiempo la temperatura de los líquidos, ya sean fríos o calientes.

Finally we will make a mini pot to plant small plants. To do this we will place compost soil in the can until we reach the top, then we place the plant, so that when they take a good size we can transplant them directly into the ground.

Finalmente realizaremos un mini matero para sembrar plantas pequeñas. Para ello vamos a colocar tierra de abono en la lata hasta que alcancemos el tope, luego colocamos la planta, de modo que cuando tomen un buen tamaño podamos trasplantarlas directamente a la tierra.
