Happy start to the week, friends of Hive Open Mic! It’s a pleasure as always to greet you and participate in this great event, now in its 145th week. The current theme is Glory, proposed by the user @sleemfit.

For me, "Glory" has several meanings, one of them is from the religious point of view, in which it means praise and worship to the Supreme Being, to whom we owe our very existence and in whom we have immeasurable faith. Another sense would be a more earthly one, in which feeling in glory refers to reaching a state of happiness and full personal fulfillment.

The cover that I share with you this week is not totally related to the theme, however it’s a song that speaks of a great love, repentance for the harm caused in the past and a promise of true affection and total fidelity. It is Solo Importas Tú (You are all that Matters), from the album Fantasía by Venezuelan singer-songwriter Franco de Vita, released in 1986.

¡Feliz inicio de semana, amigos de Hive Open Mic! Un placer como siempre saludarles y participar en este gran evento, ya en su semana 145. La temática actual es Gloria, propuesta por el usuario @sleemfit.

Para mí, la “Gloria” tiene varios sentidos, uno de ellos es desde el punto de vista religioso, en el que significa la alabanza y adoración al ser supremo, a quien debemos nuestra existencia misma y en quien tenemos una fe inconmensurable. Otro sentido sería uno más terrenal, en el cual sentirse en la gloria se refiere a llegar a un estado de felicidad y realización personal plena.

El cover que les comparto esta semana no está totalmente relacionado a la temática, sin embargo es una canción que habla de un gran amor, un arrepentimiento por los males causados en el pasado y una promesa de cariño verdadero y fidelidad total. Se trata de Solo Importas Tú, perteneciente al álbum Fantasía del cantautor venezolano Franco de Vita, lanzado en el año 1986.

Espero que tengan una feliz semana y que puedan disfrutar de esta presentación traída con mucho cariño.
