Greetings, dear family of the Hive Open Mic community! What a joy to participate again in this event after a week of absence. It is evident that every week we get to see so many musicians and art lovers expressing their unparalleled talent.

The theme in this addition is Cinema, and it is a very nice topic, since music has a very important role in film productions, providing sensitivity and warmth but at the same time strong emotions, depending on the case.

This time I bring you a song that has been used as a soundtrack for many movies, among them About a Boy. It is Killing me Softly with his Song, composed by Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel, in 1972 and has been performed by various artists such as Roberta Flack, Alicia Keys, Tony Braxton, The Fugees, among others.

La temática en esta adición es Cine, y es un tópico muy bonito, ya que la música tiene un papel muy importante en las producciones cinematográficas, aportando sensibilidad y calidez pero a la vez emociones fuertes, dependiendo del caso.
