    My Weekend Ranked Battles #5

    🇪🇸

He perdido.

Batalla 2, vs Zombie Tempo Death:

    My Weekend Ranked Battles #5

    🇺🇸

Last weekend I did very well using my aggro light deck, but during the week I noticed that it was no longer working. Perhaps this is due to the constant evolution of the meta at present. I saw that the magic and war gods were getting good results, so I adjusted my aggro war deck a bit to use it this weekend. The result was not very good, in general I did very poorly and lost many battles. This time I did not manage to win any packs of the new expansion.

Overall, it was a very disappointing week for me. My aggro war deck did not work as well as I expected. However, I learned some mistakes that I made and I hope to be able to improve my game in the future. Here are 3 interesting battles from my weekend.

    Battle 1, vs Midrange War:

This was a very difficult match. From the beginning I tried to place minions on the board, but my opponent ended up clearing them. Still, I ended up placing my two Feral Shapeshifters on the table. However, my opponent covered himself with a White Fur Guard. On the next turn, I omitted attacking with the Feral Shapeshifters (perhaps a mistake) and placed a White Fur Guard to face the enemy minion on equal terms and undo his protect.

My opponent filled the board with 2/6 frontline minions, which tipped the balance in his favor and placed a challenge for my deck. I also filled the board with minions and equipped an Enduring Shield to protect them on the next turn. However, then my opponent traded minions efficiently and destroyed my weapon.

I had few cards left in my hand and I had no means to draw. My opponent began to summon his stronger minions and I could not counter him. I lost.

Battle 2, vs Zombie Tempo Death:

In this battle, I tried to take control of the board early on using the Enduring Shield and my low-cost minions. But my opponent resisted by constantly summoning Implings and Zombies. However, I was able to clear the board using a Lykaios Adherent. From here, I maintained control of the board by trading minions efficiently.

Despite the fact that my opponent played minions with good stats, he was also damaging himself, which accelerated the battle and gave me an advantage to win in the following turns. The opponent realized that he was lost and surrendered.

    Battle 3, vs Olympian War:

In this battle, I was lucky to have enduring shield at the start of the battle. This allowed me to protect my Bladecaster while it was getting stronger and kept the board clean. Then, with a second Enduring Shield and Another Round, I managed to have a very strong minion on my side of the field.

The opponent reacted and tried to fill the board with minions. However, I was able to eliminate them without compromising my Bladecaster, which continued to grow stronger and made the minions in my hand stronger.

The opponent reacted by playing minions with enhanced stats. I tried to cover myself while continuing to deal damage to end the game. I sacrificed just enough to keep the enemy side clean and tried to maintain presence on the board. Despite the fact that the opponent was beginning to play his legendary cards, he could not avoid continuing to receive damage. Finally, I drew a Lethal Prowler that provided me with the damage needed to KO in that turn.
