Hello everyone!!! Continuing with the series of Christmas ornaments and crafts, today I want to show you a beautiful Advent Wreath, a work made partly with recycled materials that I know you will like. Let's see the materials and the step by step.

¡Hola a todos! Continuando con las serie de adornos y manualidades navideñas, hoy les quiero mostrar una hermosa Corona de Adviento, un trabajo hecho en parte con materiales reciclados que sé que les va a gustar. Veamos los materiales y el paso a paso.

We will need / Vamos a necesitar:

Egg cartons, Liquid silicone or white glue, Scissors, Brush, Piece of cardboard, Glittered Foamy, Cold or acrylic paint, Water-based varnish.

Cartones de Huevos, Silicón líquido o pega blanca, Tijera, Pincel, Trozo de cartón, Foamy escarchado, Pintura al frio o acrílica, Barniz al agua.

We start by cutting out the cardboard; we will need the deposits where the eggs go, giving it a few rounded cuts on the edges to obtain pieces as follows. We glue them together 5 pieces at a time.

Iniciamos recortando el cartón; necesitaremos los depósitos donde van los huevos, dándole unos cortes redondeados en los bordes hasta obtener piezas de la siguiente manera. Vamos pegando unas con otras de a 5 piezas.

Afterwards, we paint green on all sides. We need a total of 11 of these bases.

Posteriormente pintamos de color verde navidad por todos los costados. Necesitamos en total 11 bases de estas.

To make the flowers we are going to take the same deposits and make cross cuts without reaching the center of the cardboard. Then we give it an oval shape to create the petals.

Para realizar las flores vamos a tomar los mismos depósitos y hacemos cortes en cruz sin llegar al centro del cartón. Luego le damos forma ovalada para crear los pétales.

Once we have our petals we paint them red and apply a touch of gloss with water varnish.

Una vez tengamos nuestros pétalos los pintamos de color rojo y aplicamos un toque de brillo con barniz al agua.

To make the pistils we are going to take rectangles of yellow or gold foamy and cut in this way without reaching the edge of the piece, roll it and glue it with liquid silicone.

With the help of a marker we will give a curved shape to our petals. We assemble the flowers intercalating 3 groups of petals so that they are as shown in the image. Dry the pistils and place them in the center of the flower.

Para realizar los pistilos vamos a tomar rectángulos de foamy amarillo o dorado y cortamos de esta manera sin llegar al borde de la pieza, lo enrollamos y pegamos con silicon liquido.

Con la ayuda de un marcador vamos dándole una forma curva a nuestros petalos. Armamos las flores intercalando 3 grupos de petalos para que queden como se ve en la imagen. A secar los pistilos los colocamos en el centro de la flor.

For the leaves of the flowers I used green glittered foamy, we could also use the same material of egg carton and paint it.

Para las hojas de las flores utilicé foamy escarchado verde, también podríamos usar el mismo material de carton de huevos y pintarlo.

We are going to take a piece of cardboard to make a ring that will serve as a base for our wreath and paint it green.

Vamos a tomar un trozo de cartón para realizar un aro que sirva de base para nuestra corona y la pintamos de color verde.

Now we are going to glue our green pieces all around the ring as follows.

Ahora vamos pegar nuestras piezas verdes por todo el contorno del aro de la siguiente manera.

When we have this part ready we are going to place a fastener to hang it on a wall and we glue the flowers in the center of each base.

Cuando tengamos esta parte ya lista le vamos a colocar un sujetador para poder guindarlo de una pared y le pegamos las flores en el centro de cada base.
