Fallout 3 Walkthrough (Modded) Part 289

Some places may never be discovered if we don't pay attention. This is the twelfth episode of Alton - IL.

Note: My experience with Alton wasn't the best. Many instabilities and crashes, but I managed to complete the quests.

Timestamps for you:

• 00:40 - I head north/northwest and enter the Bell Street Apartments (map position).
• 01:10 - I kill Ferral Remnant Soldier (not Feral?) upstairs and take hits Remnant T-51b Armor (unique armor). Some inventory management is required.
• 03:28 - First aid box in the bathroom. The rooms to the right were empty.
• 04:03 - I equip the Remnant T-51b Armor. The "Alton And FWE Power Armor Integration" brings the FWE system to Power Armors found in Alton.
• 04:54 - Back outside. I go south, past the Bell Street Trailers. I'm attacked by raiders near the ruined building near the monorail. Wrigley's Hardware Center discovered. A laser turret was in the building.
• 07:31 - A Tales of Junktown Jerky Vendor is under the counter.
• 07:39 - Some chems, a first aid box, and a footlocker in the northwest corner. The workbench is on the planks above (+ a Bottlecap Mine).
• 08:45 - I leave the place and head south. I walk around the area before checking the quest objectives and pip boy. I fast-travel to Hop Hollow Farmstead.
• 11:11 - I take the road to the north and then west. It's the camp where the Super Mutants lived, but the map mark (Windswept Super Mutant Camp) wasn't discovered yet.
• 13:55 - A building and radio towers to the north. I go east first and find a few raiders in the ruins near the power lines. I loot the place.
• 17:15 - A unmarked substation across the road. I return northwest and find a locked garage. I climb the rocks to reach the top building. It requires a key too.
• 19:16 - I snipe the raiders to the northeast (near the military trucks and the ruined house).
• 19:52 - The raider with the minigun was teabagging someone.
• 21:25 - Looting the dead and inspecting the trucks. I go southeast to check that unmarked substation and then return to the ruined house.
• 23:50 - I find The Book Of Eli on the ground behind the radio and TV (Easter Egg). A message box appears, and the Angelic Shield is added.
• 26:46 - Three Burial Mounds near the house.
• 27:21 - I go north/northwest. A few radioactive waste barrels are on the ground. I notice a ravine to the southeast. The Divide is discovered (a closer look at the map location).
• 28:31 - Feral ghouls in the area. I continue southeast.
• 30:10 - A few remaining Ferals to the south. I find two Brotherhood Initiates near the table, and I find the Rad Resistant Power Armor and Helmet. Inventory management was required (I returned later to loot everything).
• 32:31 - Equipping the new Power Armor.
• 33:04 - The Mission Objective holotape was on the table.
• 33:47 - The other Initiate had another Rad Resistant Power Armor.
• 35:32 - The local map. I leave the place and go southeast, then east to check the ruins seen from the ravine.
• 37:36 - A Glowing One ejects itself from the ground towards the stratosphere.
• 38:50 - Not much to see on the south side. I go around to check the ruins to the north.
• 41:27 - One Abominable Mutant. I try to go east, but too many rocks on the way.
• 42:45 - I find a barely standing shack between the rocks to the northwest and also a Wastelander.
• 43:19 - A Bloodclaw further to the north (Imperfection mod + Broken Steel support).
• 44:09 - I take the road east. I snipe a few Raiders.
• 45:57 - Looting the dead. I reach an invisible wall further east. I enter the Last Chance Gas building and kill the raiders inside.
• 47:31 - A Nuka Cola Quantum bottle on the fridge.
• 48:08 - Back outside.

I found many hidden places in the east/northeast areas. I'll return to the main quest in the next episode.
