    I go to Scrapyard to get some stuff before returning to the Spiderdyne Systems building. This is the eighth episode of The Mantis Imperative.

    From the mod page: "...If you have Mantis radio turned on, you'll occasionally get anomaly notifications from Mantis. These are smaller adventure areas that open up on a semi-random basis. When you're alerted of one, it updates a note in your journal with the transcript of the broadcast, so if you miss some voice work, that log will help you identify what's happening with the anomaly."

    Note: ENB replaces Reshade, Cinematech, Dynavision, and other visual mods. All the episodes from now on were recorded on a more powerful computer.

    • 00:34 - From Spiderdyne Systems to Agatha's House. It's a safe location (mostly).
    • 01:24 - Meeting Crazy Wolfgang near the rope bridge. He rewards me with six Stealth Boys for investing in his caravan.
    • 01:58 - Selling some of the raider armor I collected.
    • 02:38 - Heading east to Scrapyard.
    • 03:30 - A hostile Robobrain.
    • 05:24 - Killing the lone slaver with the Tiger Malayan. A CAM Research Discover happens.
    • 05:52 - It's a Secondary Research Upgrade. I have the 4 scrap metals. I need 250 grams of platinum and 175 grams of rhodium. I'll return later to Manchester Mine Lab to get more information.
    • 06:39 - The Scrapyard. No sign of enemies (yet).
    • 08:29 - Killing some Grinders (Gangs of the Wasteland).
    • 10:32 - Looting the dead.
    • 11:55 - The wagon home was (probably) added by The DC Interiors.
    • 13:00 - Climbing the metal structure. Killing some raiders.
    • 13:27 - Oh, that's where I need to go.
    • 13:48 - Inventory management and another raider.
    • 15:17 - Entering the Scrapyard Office. A lone raider was inside.
    • 15:46 - Inventory management and equipment repair.
    • 17:04 - There's nothing in the collapsed room.
    • 17:13 - Hacking the terminal on the desk. Reading the Spiderdyne Systems Contract and learning that the documents are stored in the room.
    • 18:57 - Reading the "Spiderdyne lady" entry (LOL).
    • 20:17 - Inspecting the room. I missed the small switch on the poster (under the 24 number).
    • 22:04 - I finally noticed the Strange Switch. The poster moves, revealing the safe. I take the Spiderdyne Amor Notes, the Spiderdyne Energy Notes, and the Spiderdyne Payload Notes.
    • 23:03 - I hang the documents on the wall. The first poster mentions the power source (ammo) with the most consistent performance over time (MF = Microfusion Cells).
    • 23:45 - About the second poster: Tarantula series mentions a 3:1 ratio of Benzene percentage to Flamer Fuel. The Black Widow series notes a popular illegal inhalant (Jet).
    • 24:26 - The third poster mentions combat ratio and hull integrity (1 to 5). One scrap metal yields one layer. Most combat operations will occur at 25-75% integrity (3).
    • 26:37 - Leaving the office. A deathclaw prevented me from fast-traveling.
    • 28:43 - Entering Spiderdyne Systems. The Remote Authorization Tool is detected as I enter the Fabrication Room. I access the Fabrication Terminal Two.
    • 29:16 - Setting the Armor Layers to 3 [CORRECT].
    • 29:37 - Setting the Energy Composition to Microfusion Cells (MF) [CORRECT].
    • 29:48 - Setting the Payload Composition: Tarantula Series accelerant/incendiary units to 9 [INCORRECT! Change to 7]. Black Widow's chemical agent is Jet [CORRECT].
    • 30:37 - Testing the Fabrications Settings. It was rejected. Skip to the next timestamp.
    • 31:20 - Setting the values again and changing the Tarantula Series value to 7. Testing the Fabrications Settings successfully.
    • 32:06 - A paper with the values appears above Terminal Two. Tarantula: Flamer Fuel x7; Microfusion Cells x10; Scrap Metal x3. Black Widow: Jet x1; Microfusion Cells x10; Scrap Metal x3.
    • 32:48 - Crafting the Tarantula mine. Use the Fabriceat Tarantula System option.
    • 34:07 - Two Tarantulas drop on the bin with the sixth Easter Papaya. I eat the fruit, and the "Mantis - Easter Papaya Notes" is updated.
    • 36:32 - Crafting the Black Widow mine. I read the Weapon System Information to learn how to use them.
    • 38:46 - Leaving the building. I cross the square to test the Tarantula and Black Widow. The first attempt didn't work (LOL).
    • 45:48 - Crafting more Tarantulas and Black Widows.
    • 47:18 - Testing them on more raiders.

    Anomaly 8 is completed. The Mantis Imperative is finished.
