Hive Open Mic 🎤 week 177 ~ The Great Beyond || A cover song by Princessbusayo.

Happy weekend, Hive Open Mic community! It's Princessbusayo here again presenting a cover of a wonderful song titled "The Great Beyond" from Bethel Music, a song by Brian Johnson and Amanda Cook in relation with the theme of the week, "Praise". Before I proceed, let me share something with you, guys.

One good thing about planning is that it saves one from any unexpected circumstances or that you already envisage how things are gonna look. For you not to miss out, it requires full planning ahead. I wouldn't have been able to make a video for this week if I hadn't done what I did last week. That was why I planned my schedule, knowing it would hurt me if I ended up not making a video for this week.

My Grandma's burial started on Monday and ended yesterday. Before I left my place for my hometown, I tried making this video in case something might come up. Knowing how tight things would be, I did that and the only thing for me is to edit my post and do some changes later on which wouldn't be an issue to me. I haven't rested since I came to my hometown, just so you know, last night, I slept for longer hours than the 2 hours daily we all had just to make sure the ceremony went well.

Though I was posting daily so as not to leave my blog empty, I couldn't engage so well because there was no time for that. I am excited I made this video before I travelled as there was no time to make one here. So, this is one reason I have been inactive on Hive and I am glad to be back again. Would have to do my best for this weekend while anticipating a wonderful week tomorrow.

The week's theme is all about praise and it is something I enjoy doing. The song is about appreciating who God is and praising Him for there is no one that can be compared to Him. God is a world without an end and it is one reason we need to keep praising Him while trusting in Him always.

The first verse of the song talks about clinging to God even amidst darkness and circumstances. When it seems the world is ending or collapsing, we should trust that God's world never ends. Another thing to be reminded of in the song is that when things are so rough, making it look as if there is no hope, God is always there to encourage us never to worry but to have courage and know that He will be there for us.

His promises have always made me praise Him because I know that even in the silence and thinking God isn't there, He is always available and He keeps listening to us and waiting for the right time for His children. God delights in praises and we should endeavour to give Him that all the time.
