How to fund a global collaboration and create recycled and open source pair of Nouns Noggles?

Introduction

What if people around the world could produce Noggles made from 100% locally sourced plastic waste?

An open source mold and production network will be built to produce Noggles using the established ecosystem of microrecyclers in the Precious Plastic Community.

DCS Pod is partnering with Precious Plastic, an international community of plastic recyclers committed to tackling the plastic waste problem around the world.

#What is Nouns?

@nounsdao is a funding machine. People and teams come with ideas of ways to proliferate Nouns in the world and if we like their idea we fund them.

Within the nounish ecosystem there are several ways to get funding for your ideas no matter how big or small ⌐◨-◨

Introducing DCS ⌐◨-◨

Funded by @NounsDAO — DCS funds and works alongside smaller nounish builders to scale them up in the DAO to go onto larger things.

The DCS aims to bridge the gap between existing off-chain funding options and larger on-chain proposals within the substantive ecosystem.

In other words, it funds and works with builders to take them from smaller funding rounds to full on-chain props. Emphasis on scale.

DCS was first envisioned when certain proposals at nouns were causing too much friction for an on-chain vote that had a total ask worth less than 20 ETH.

They work closely with the builders we fund to scale them up to bigger things.

DCS Pod and Precious Plastic are working together to design and produce wearable Noggles made from recycled plastic.

With the help of three Precious Plastic workspaces located in the United States, Portugal, and Brazil

We'll be creating a decentralised production model that empowers local communities to transform waste into Noggles 🤘

The Noggles glasses mould will be open-source and available for anyone to use, so that others can also start producing Noggles locally from plastic waste using Precious Plastic machines to proliferate Nouns!
