HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 171 | SEPARATION |A COVER OF 'IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL' BY @nathcy and @onos-f

This afternoon, @ksam chatted me up, using pidgin English telling me how his plan of going to the beach today has been disrupted by rain. By the way, it has been raining since morning here in Lagos and lots of people have been separated from their plans for the day. Immediately I saw his chat, I responded in a sarcastic manner saying; 'Maybe God does not want you to get drowned'.

Earlier, I was thinking about the pains and heartbreak that Horatio G. Safford went through as a result of the separation from his family caused by ship wreck. His story was so tragic as the ocean separated him eternally from his lovely children. You can read up the story using the link above. Due to the fact that I was thinking about separation caused by water, the only response I could give to me friend was a response related to separation. I can't bear being separated eternally from ksam. At least not now. Thanks to God for the rain that impeded his going to a beach 😂
