HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 157 |AL DIOS QUE ADORAMUS| A COVER OF 'ADORO TE DEVOTE' @onos-f - children choir

Hello dear friends, I am @onos-f and this is Hive Open Mic week 157 with the theme 'Al Dios Que Adoramos" (The God We Worship). This theme is chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @williansmarquez.
In line with this theme, I will be bringing to you a Latin song with the title 'Adorote devote'(devoutly I adore you). I'm actually here with Saint Joseph Marello's children choir Isolo Lagos Nigeria. Divine Providence brought them to me when I was in the church preparing to make this entry, and I decided to teach them the song and make this entry with them. I am so glad that they were able to learn the song without much stress. The children are so intelligent and they learn so very fast. After making this video they did not allow me go until I taught them another latin song titled 'Laudate Dominum'. It was fun being with them this afternoon.

I chose this song because, I believe in God the father almighty, maker of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ his only son our Lord who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. This is the God I worship, adore and glorify. A lot of people believe in and worship different gods and they have reasons and convictions for their actions. However, no matter the conviction one has for worshiping a man made God, I think such convictions need to be thoroughly exermined. I can’t imagine myself considering a tree, a mountain, an animal, or river as my god. For me, ‘it is a no go area’. Also, a lot of people are so attached to certain things, and such things have taken the place of God in their lives without their knowledge. They are so attached to such things as their computer, cell phones, make up, video games, etc. Often times, they prefer relating with such things rather than praying, praising and spending time with God. Such things have become their gods. Dear friends, there is a lot to be said about our theme for the week but one thing is certain; no matter the god that the world worship, together with my family, I will worship the living God who created the heaven and the earth and we will always adore and glorify him no matter what happens. May he never allow any man made thing take his place in our lives. Amen 🙏

Hola queridos amigos, soy @ onos-f y esta es la semana 157 de Hive Open Mic con el tema 'Al Dios Que Adoramos'. Este tema es elegido por el Artista destacado reciente de nuestra comunidad: @ williansmarquez.
En línea con este tema, les traeré una canción latina con el título 'Adorote devote' (devotamente te adoro). De hecho, estoy aquí con el coro de niños de San José Marello, Isolo Lagos, Nigeria. La Divina Providencia me los trajo cuando estaba en la iglesia preparándome para hacer esta entrada, y decidí enseñarles la canción y hacer esta entrada con ellos. Estoy muy contento de que hayan podido aprender la canción sin mucho estrés. Los niños son muy inteligentes y aprenden muy rápido. Después de hacer este video, no me dejaron ir hasta que les enseñé otra canción latina titulada 'Laudate Dominum'. Fue divertido estar con ellos esta tarde.

Elegí esta canción porque creo en Dios padre todopoderoso, creador del cielo y de la tierra, y en Jesucristo, su único hijo, nuestro Señor, que fue concebido por el poder del Espíritu Santo y nació de la virgen María. Este es el Dios que yo adoro, adoro y glorifico. Muchas personas creen y adoran a diferentes dioses y tienen razones y convicciones para sus acciones. Sin embargo, no importa la convicción que uno tenga para adorar a un Dios hecho hombre, creo que tales convicciones deben ejercerse a fondo. No puedo imaginarme a mí mismo considerando un árbol, una montaña, un animal o un río como mi dios. Para mí, 'es una zona prohibida'. Además, muchas personas están tan apegadas a ciertas cosas, y tales cosas han tomado el lugar de Dios en sus vidas sin su conocimiento. Están tan apegados a cosas como su computadora, teléfonos celulares, maquillaje, videojuegos, etc. Muchas veces, prefieren relacionarse con tales cosas en lugar de orar, alabar y pasar tiempo con Dios. Tales cosas se han convertido en sus dioses. Queridos amigos, hay mucho que decir sobre nuestro tema para la semana, pero una cosa es cierta; no importa el dios que el mundo adore, junto con mi familia, adoraré al Dios vivo que creó el cielo y la tierra y siempre lo adoraremos y glorificaremos sin importar lo que suceda. Que él nunca permita que ninguna cosa hecha por el hombre tome su lugar en nuestras vidas. Amen Am
