HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 164 | 'HOPEFUL' | VIOLIN AND VOICE COVER OF 'AS THE DEER' @onos-f

I am very hopeful in God, that is why my soul always long and thirst for him like a deer that pants for running stream. In this week 164 of hive open mic, our theme is ‘HOPEFUL’. in line with this theme, I’m bringing to you a song that is titled ‘AS THE DEER’.

Taking a look at the world today, it is very obvious that the situation of things especially in some countries where the political leaders have zero interest for the masses has led many people into despair. Many people have left their hopeless countries to hopeful countries seeking for greener pastures. People commit suicide each due for one reason or the other; Maybe marital crisis, sickness, etc. It is a pity that many people are really into hopeless situations and are lamenting, mourning and even despairing. However, our theme for the week which is HOPEFUL’ echoes Roman 5:5 where we are reminded to be hopeful always no matter what happens because ‘our hope will not fail or disappoint us’. So dear friends, I wish to encourage us with the theme of the week; to be HOPEFUL IN GOD and let our souls desire and pant, and long for God always no matter the situation life presents before us.

For this entry, I will be playing my violin which I have not played for a very long time. I am really glad that I am able to make this entry this week with my violin even though I could not express myself as much as I would really loved to, due to several reasons.
