Hello, Hive Open Mic community members and fellow Hivers. It’s a privilege to be part of this community. My name is Olu Thomas, and I love music. I love music so much that even though I can't sing like that, but still learning. I would be singing a song by the late Prophet TB Joshua, a well-known Prophet in Nigeria and the world. The song was composed by him. "Lighten the Word"

The theme of the week is "Your light on me," so I took some time to consider which personality this topic was referring to. What I do know as a Christian is that light refers to what is godly, good, and what gives life, so I chose this song because of the theme of the week, which says, Your light on me. And I refer to that light as God. If the light of God is on us, everything about us will change, and we will be transformed completely. The light of God can release it to us because it provides us with knowledge, wealth, wisdom, and everything else we require in this life.

I observed this late prophet of God's life while he was still alive, so I know exactly how things are in the world. He preaches the love of God and his prayers, and what he urges all his followers to do is work in the light of God, saying that they should not pray to be like any man except Jesus Christ, that no one should say they want to be like him, but they should crave always to be like Jesus in their lifetime. If you can't imitate any man of God, he says, then Jesus is a perfect example for everyone to follow. Another thing he does that makes me keep following his meetings is the understanding of God's light that he has in the word of God. He teaches that God is love, and love is God, so he has no reason not to love humanity. Because of his giving nature, he is misunderstood by many as being involved in the occult or having acquired power from the ruler of darkness (The Devil), to me why he does that is the extent of God's light within him.

God used him mightily to perform miracles, to help the hopeless, to give scholarships to many, and to provide shelter to many he evangelise in different countries he does this because of the presence of light on him that he received from God’s word, although some people went on to criticize him but he never talked against any man of God but rather preached love and unity in the body of Christ.
from the song I sang It says "Let your spirit lighten the word of God in my heart," The Bible is studied by both believers and nonbelievers, but few find the light in it. Many people read the Bible or other books like storybooks, but once you find the light in a word, everything becomes clear and you can understand the hidden secret that lies behind it.

This topic, in my opinion, will help us all see the light in everything we do—business, offices, ideas, education, investments, how to interact, relationships, planning etc. His light will shine forth in all we do and darkness most give way.
