HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL WK 134 {ROUND 2} "ORIGINAL SONG"

Hey friends, good day and welcome to my blog. My name is @oluthomas.

We are currently in Week 134, Round 2 of the Hive Music Festival Weekly Contest, and I’m excited to share with you my original song titled “We Bow Before the Throne,” which I composed myself. This morning, while meditating at home, I found myself reflecting on the current state of the world. It’s hard to ignore how unstable everything feels, nations are in turmoil, people in power seem to misuse their authority, and there’s a sense that things aren’t going according to plan. In moments like this, I found myself asking: Who can we turn to? Who can fight these battles for us?
That’s when the song came to me. I didn’t even take the time to write it down, fearing I might forget the progression. Instead, I immediately started recording the song as it came to me. During this process, some children outside were making quite a bit of noise. I tried to get them to be quiet, but they were so engrossed in their play. In the end, I managed to convince them with a small bribe, and they disappeared, allowing me to finish recording. Though another group came by, at least I was close to finishing the song.

This song is a declaration and proclamation of the supremacy of our God. He is gracious, mighty, wonderful, and all-powerful. As I sang it, I no longer felt burdened by the issues of the world but was instead filled with peace and worship in Christ. I added some effects from my small sound card to enhance the melody.
I also intended to play my keyboard, but unfortunately, some of the keys were malfunctioning. Despite this, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share this creation with you.
