One year ago several young Nigerians were killed for exercising their fundamental human right to protest. I was so lucky not to be on the protest ground that day as I intended to. This was a few days before the shooting at another protest ground which I narrowly escaped.
It has been a year and not much has changed. We are still dealing with the negative stereotype which has led to the death and extortion of so many young Nigerians.
In this video, I talk about how we as a people perpetuate this narrative that online work equates to fraud. This mindset needs to stop. I discuss this extensively in this video.
