It has taken me a while to make you the second part of this post, but I have not had time between the two jobs I have, to dedicate to create something of quality for you. Seeing the acceptance of the previous post, I had to show you the results of this race and you will be left with your mouths open. Me he tardado bastante en hacerles la segunda parte de este post, pero no he tenido tiempo entre los dos trabajos que tengo para dedicar a crear algo de calidad para ustedes. Al ver la aceptación que tuvo el post anterior, tenía que mostrarles los resultados de esta carrera y se van a quedar con la boca abierta. Then came the part of the cleaning of the parts. Llego la parte de la limpieza de las piezas. En lo que el mecánico trabajaba las piezas más complicadas, yo tuve que lavar con gasolina el resto de las piezas y pasarle una lija de agua para quitar toda la suciedad que no era poca y los desniveles de la pintura, para que luciera bien una vez pintado.

It was several hours in this activity that seems easy. Once the parts were cleaned and sanded we put them in the sun to dry the gasoline quickly.

Fueron varias horas en esta actividad que parece fácil. Una vez limpias y lijadas las piezas las pusimos al sol para secar la gasolina rápidamente.

Once all the parts were ready it was time to test all the gaskets and parts, we managed to get all the new parts at high prices, but the owner of the car which is my uncle, determined that it was the most feasible, so it takes away a little trouble and worry for a long time.

Una vez con todas las piezas listas fue el momento de probar todas las juntas y las piezas, pues logramos conseguir todos los recambios nuevos a altos precios, pero el dueño del carro el cual es mi tio, determino que era lo mas factible, asi se quita un poco de problemas y preocupación por un buen tiempo.

Esta obra de arte va quedando, pero no les subiré más fotos para tenerlos a la espera 😅. Van a ir viendo el proceso y las piezas en el armado del mismo.

So far was the easy part, with everything tested and ready the mechanic began to assemble and go detecting unforeseen problems, which were not few. There were a lot of screws out of threads, bad threads, and it was necessary to rectify the crankshaft, the block cover and the piston liners. A 79mm Lada repair was bought, it was the one that was available at the time because the original polaquitos, literally do not exist here.

Hasta ahora fue la parte fácil. Con todo probado y listo, el mecánico empezó a armar e ir detectando problemas imprevistos, los cuales no fueron pocos. Había muchos tornillos idos de roscas, espárragos en mal estado y hubo que rectificar el cigüeñal, la tapa de block y las camisas de los pistones. Se le compró una reparación de lada a 79 mm, era la que había en el momento y porque original de polaquitos, aquí no existen ,literalmente.

The engine is already taking shape, here we can see the flywheel mounted and rectified and the new distribution kit that we managed to buy.

Ya va cogiendo forma el motorcito, aquí podemos ver el volante montado ya rectificado y el kit de distribución nuevo que logramos comprar.
