Existen hermosos e interesantes lugares que podemos apreciar y hoy comparto con agrado un lugar muy especial, tierras de valientes y mujeres sabias, donde la valentía y la lealtad resalta en cada mirada.

Hola mi gente creativa e innovadora espero que se encuentren bien, rebosantes de salud y repletos de energías positivas quién les saluda @nanyuris, desde la ciudad de Maracay Estado Aragua considerada como La espléndida Ciudad Jardín, traigo para ustedes la segunda edición de "Destino" un espacio para describir hermosos lugares y para conmemorar aquellas mujeres que formaron parte de la historia, las cuales dejaron huellas significativa.

El Pasado 5 de marzo se cumplió 322 años de haber sido fundada la Ciudad de Maracay y hoy tenemos el honor de proyectar a través de este documental algunos detalles con relación a la Plaza Bolívar de Maracay y sus adyacencias, se dice que la palabra Maracay proviene del vocablo indígena de lo caribes "maracayá" que se relaciona con una especie de felino que habitaba en dicha region , también se vincula con el nombre del Cacique Maracay , una interesante historia engloba cada rincón de esta fantástica ciudad, ven junto a nosotras a recorrer esta travesía y a conocer un poco más de esta magnífico lugar.

Hello my creative and innovative people, I hope you are well, brimming with health and full of positive energies, who greets you @nanyuris, from the city of Maracay, Aragua State, considered as the splendid Garden City, I bring for you the second edition of "Destino" a space to describe beautiful places and to commemorate those women who were part of history, which left significant traces.

Last March 5th was the 322nd anniversary of the founding of the city of Maracay and today we have the honor of projecting through this documentary some details regarding the Plaza Bolivar de Maracay and its surroundings, It is said that the word Maracay comes from the indigenous word of the Caribs "maracayá" which is related to a kind of feline that lived in that region, it is also linked to the name of Cacique Maracay, an interesting story encompasses every corner of this fantastic city, come with us to travel this journey and learn a little more about this magnificent place.

Hoy nos encontramos en la capital Aragüeña la cual destaca por su amplia vegetación , historia y productividad, dónde resalta la Plaza Bolivar de Maracay, ubicada precisamente en la Avenida Bolívar Municipio Girardot, considerada como la más grande de nuestro país Venezuela , ya que mide 320 de metros de largo por 106 metros de ancho, cuenta la historia que fue inaugurada el 19 de diciembre de 1930 , eso quiere decir que, para este año 2023 se cumplirá 93 años de dicha inauguración, además fue considerada Monumento Histórico Nacional el 15 de abril de 1994, es oportuno mencionar que fue diseñada por el grandioso arquitecto venezolano Carlos Raúl Villanueva y construida por Ernesto León en los antiguos y misterioso terrenos de la hacienda Las Glorietas, en el centro de dicha plaza se encuentra una réplica de la estatua ecuestre del Libertador la cual fue esculpida por Emilio Garibaldi un artista italiano que nos sorprendió con tan impresionante obra , con el transcurso del tiempo la plaza ha tenido ciertas restauraciones por ejemplo en el año 2014 instalaron un sistema de iluminación con intención de resaltar esta majestuosa plaza.

Today we are in the capital of Aragon which stands out for its extensive vegetation, history and productivity, where highlights the Plaza Bolivar de Maracay, located precisely on Avenida Bolivar Girardot Municipality, considered the largest in our country Venezuela, as it measures 320 meters long by 106 meters wide, the story goes that was inaugurated on December 19, 1930, that means that, for this year 2023 will be 93 years of the inauguration, it was also considered a National Historic Monument on April 15, 1994, It is worth mentioning that it was designed by the great Venezuelan architect Carlos Raul Villanueva and built by Ernesto Leon in the old and mysterious grounds of the hacienda Las Glorietas, in the center of the square is a replica of the equestrian statue of the Liberator which was sculpted by Emilio Garibaldi an Italian artist who surprised us with such an impressive work, over time the square has had certain restorations for example in 2014 installed a lighting system intended to highlight this majestic square.

Durante el recorrido realizado en la plaza Bolívar quedamos cautivados por tan esplendorosa y hermosa vegetación , dónde se obseva una gran cantidad de plantas ornamentales, además de una calma que rodeaba el ambiente, bajo la sombra de los árboles que le dan vida a este grandioso lugar que forma parte de la "Historia Aragüeña", también se puede apreciar cinco fuentes y dos Glorietas que anteriormente se utilizaba para eventos musicales, durante este interesante recorrido tuvimos la oportunidad de observar varias ardillas.

During the tour in the Bolivar Square we were captivated by the splendorous and beautiful vegetation, where a large number of ornamental plants are obseva, in addition to a calm that surrounded the environment, under the shade of the trees that give life to this great place that is part of the "History Aragüeña", you can also see five fountains and two gazebos that were previously used for musical events, during this interesting tour we had the opportunity to observe several squirrels.

Desde las plaza se puede contemplar la Torre Sindoni considerado como el rascacielos de Maracay, icono de esta sorprendente ciudad, con una altura de 130 metros con 32 pisos, según la historia tiene 24 años, ya que fue inaugurada en el año 1999 y su nombre se debe a un gran empresario Ítalo venezolano, el cual es recordado como extraordinario emprendedor y por su gran labor social, quién fue considerado con la condecoración Francisco de Miranda en su segunda clase en el año 1981.

From the square you can contemplate the Sindoni Tower considered as the skyscraper of Maracay, icon of this amazing city, with a height of 130 meters with 32 floors, according to history it is 24 years old, since it was inaugurated in 1999 and its name is due to a great Italian-Venezuelan businessman, which is remembered as an extraordinary entrepreneur and for his great social work, who was considered with the Francisco de Miranda decoration in its second class in 1981.

Justo al frente de la Plaza Bolívar tenemos el majestuoso Cuartel Sucre en honor al Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho, cuenta la historia que fue inaugurado aproximadamente en el año 1921, anteriormente denominado el Cuartel Nacional, fue diseñado por Ricardo Razetti un ingeniero de obras militares,este cuartel costa de cuatro torres, cada una de dos pisos con un impresionante patio central, hoy en día considerado como la sede.

Just in front of the Plaza Bolivar we have the majestic Sucre Barracks in honor of the Grand Marshal of Ayacucho, the story goes that was inaugurated approximately in 1921, formerly called the National Barracks, was designed by Ricardo Razetti an engineer of military works, this barracks has four towers, each of two floors with an impressive central courtyard, today considered as the headquarters.

Luego visitamos la Catedral de Maracay que impacta por su espectacular estilo colonial , cuyo origen remota en el siglo XVII también fue considerada monumento histórico.

Then we visited the Cathedral of Maracay, which is impressive for its spectacular colonial style, whose origin dates back to the XVII century and is also considered a historical monument.

A unos cuantos metros podemos encontrar el Santuario de la Madre María en San José, cuyo nombre era Laura Evangelista Alvarado Cardozo, considerada como la niña del Cristo, la primera beata venezolana, quién en vida destacó por su humildad y generosidad, hoy en día es considerada como icono de fe y esperanza de la Ciudad de Maracay , nació en Choroni el 25 de abril de 1875 cuenta la historia que era una persona dotada de inteligencia y de una increíble bondad, se entregó al servicio y al cuido de los de los enfermos y ancianos vulnerables, después de una destacada trayectoria de mujer de fe y de caridad , donde a diario brindaba su apoyo y refugio a las personas necesitadas, fallece el 2 de abril de 1967 en la Ciudad de Maracay , fue considerada como una mujer de fe inquebrantable y de corazón humilde que desde temprana edad proyecto su devoción religiosa.

A few meters away we can find the Shrine of Mother Mary in San Jose, whose name was Laura Evangelista Alvarado Cardozo, considered as the girl of Christ, the first Venezuelan blessed, who in life stood out for her humility and generosity, today is considered as an icon of faith and hope of the city of Maracay, was born in Choroni on April 25, 1875 tells the story that she was a person gifted with intelligence and an incredible kindness, After an outstanding trajectory as a woman of faith and charity, where she daily offered her support and shelter to people in need, she died on April 2, 1967 in the city of Maracay. She was considered a woman of unwavering faith and humble heart who from an early age projected her religious devotion.

Hace varios años atrás tuve la oportunidad de ver una película titulada LA ELEGIDA DE DIOS BEATA MARÍA DE SAN JOSÉ (La niña del cristo) donde relata la historia de esta noble mujer y hoy le menciono un poco de lo que recuerdo de dicha película, es oportuno mencionar que parte de la indagación fue brindada por dos damas que pertenece a la congregación que amablemente conversaron conmigo y me proporcionaron información sin embargo solicitaron el anonimato, es oportuno mencionar que me autorizaron el registro fotográfico del santuario, durante el recorrido sentí una impresionante paz que invadía todo mi ser. Fue un memento emotivo.

Several years ago I had the opportunity to see a movie entitled LA ELEGIDA DE DIOS BEATA MARIA DE SAN JOSÉ (La niña del cristo) which tells the story of this noble woman and today I mention a little of what I remember from that movie, It is appropriate to mention that part of the inquiry was provided by two ladies who belong to the congregation who kindly talked with me and provided me with information but requested anonymity, it is appropriate to mention that they authorized me to take pictures of the sanctuary, during the tour I felt an impressive peace that invaded my whole being. It was an emotional moment.
