La Premier League de Inglaterra a demostrado ser todo un espectáculo en los últimos años. No tengo dudas de que progresivamente se ha convertido en la mejor liga del mundo, pero eso es gracias a una serie de circunstancias que combinadas entre si, han hecho que varios equipos se fortalezcan con ciertas igualdades presupuestarias, creando un equilibrio a nivel de plantillas que sin duda aportan al buen juego y por ende al espectáculo.

Sin embargo, tener una buena liga no garantiza que la selección vaya a tener éxito en el ámbito internacional, de hecho, no garantiza que los clubes vayan a ganar la mayor competición en dicha categoría, pero sin duda tiene mucho que ver en la escalada global de los equipos ingleses en la UEFA Champions League, por ejemplo.
