Among the last songs I have listened to that I feel bring me some peace is "One more time" by the American punk-rock band Blink-182. The lyrics of this song make us reflect a lot on how we forget the value of friendship as the years go by. I think this goes hand in hand with the fact that when we grow up and start to make our lives seriously, there is no other option but to leave behind some customs that included sharing with family and friends, however, I think we should try to find a balance and not leave friendships behind.

So I want to share with you a feeling that has invaded me in recent weeks and that has to do with my old friends, or well, it is not that they are no longer my friends, but obviously we have lost contact for reasons of life that are inevitable, such as migrating to other countries. Among the phrases I like the most in this song are "Do I have to die to hear you miss me?" and "Do I have to die to hear you say goodbye?", I think they are very heartbreaking questions.

Once again I dared to sing alone despite my lack of experience and knowledge in that matter, but it's a song that I really like and I wanted to share it with you. Dina on her part, accompanied me in some parts of the song, so you won't see her, but you will hear her 😅. De entre las últimas canciones que he escuchado que siento que me traen algo de paz esta "One more time" de la banda de punk-rock estadounidense Blink-182. La letra de esta canción nos hace reflexionar mucho sobre como vamos olvidando el valor de la amistad a medida que pasan los años. Creo que esto va de la mano de que cuando crecemos y empezamos a hacer nuestras vidas con seriedad, no queda más opción que ir dejando atrás algunas costumbres que incluían compartir con familiares y amigos, sin embargo, creo que debemos tratar de encontrar un equilibrio y no dejar del todo atrás las amistades.

Es así que quiero compartir con ustedes un sentimiento que me ha invadido en las últimas semanas y que tiene que ver con mis antiguas amistades, o bueno, no es que ya no sean mis amigos, pero evidentemente hemos perdido contacto por cuestiones de la vida que son inevitables, como por ejemplo, migrar a otros país. De entre las frases que mas me gustan de esta canción están "¿Tengo que morir para oír que me echas de menos?" y "¿Tengo que morir para oírte decir adiós?", creo que son interrogantes muy desgarradoras.

Una vez más me atreví a cantar solo a pesar de mi nula experiencia y conocimiento en esa materia, pero es una canción que me gusta mucho y quería compartirla con ustedes. Dina por su parte, me acompañó en algunos tramos de la canción, así que no la verán, pero si la van a escuchar 😅.
