The most beautiful month of the year has begun and I want to wish you a happy holiday season in the company of your loved ones. Today I am very happy to join the challenge of the week, whose theme I loved, because we are invited to share one of the most beautiful traditions and the one that children look forward to so much. My son is only three years old and this is theoretically his third Christmas, but I think it will be the most special for him, because he already understands things better and therefore enjoys them more.

As he is so young he still can't make a post as suggested in the challenge invitation, that's why I prepared a little video, where I show you a nice letter we prepared for Santa, drawn by him, where he tells us what he would like Santa to give him, but that's not all, he also had the opportunity to meet him and deliver the letter personally. Something that he did not expect and that filled him with a lot of illusion and happiness.

A few days ago, I saw on social networks that in the milenium mall, which I wrote about previously in my blog, Santa would be sharing an afternoon with the children, I knew that my son would enjoy it and I did not hesitate to plan everything to attend.

I am one of those people who prefer not to lie to children, but I also believe that they should live and enjoy their innocence, so I will let them enjoy their Christmas to the fullest and enjoy all the magic and illusion that surrounds them, that although they are increasingly influenced by consumerism and commercial advertising, it is a very beautiful stage of life and that just for the smile and that look full of brightness that we see appear in children to receive their gifts, it is worth it.

My son, when he was younger, called Santa, JoJoJo, because every time we saw a Christmas ornament, we did so and it caused him a lot of laughter, now he knows him as Santa and someone, I have no idea who it was, probably in class told him that Santa lived in heaven and that he could see him from there. I told him that we would write his letter to Santa, so that he would bring him a present on Christmas day. This ended up being a very fun time with my son, where I could see that his pencil skills have improved a lot and that his creativity is going at a thousand per hour.

He started drawing Santa and didn't give up, until it was perfect for him, he took care to draw every detail and of course he wrote his name with lots of doodles. He told me, he wanted a police car and robot track. When he finished drawing it, he told me it didn't look like a card, so we cut out an old Christmas drawing and glued it on as a cover. He was very happy with his card and showed it to everyone in the house.

The day of the event, we went out as a family to the mall and spent a very nice afternoon, where we managed to share a fun time with the child and I was pleasantly surprised to see that little by little he has been losing his fears, because until a few days ago every time we went up an escalator or elevator he always asked to go in his arms, This time it was not like that, he went up with a lot of confidence and the same happened with the elevator and while we were waiting for Santa to arrive at the mall, he made us go up and down these stairs several times.

When we saw that the event was about to begin and that Santa was already sharing with the children, we approached him and he could not believe it, he was amazed, he really believed that he was the real Santa, in the middle of the commotion, he managed to deliver his letter and then he managed to take a picture with him and received his candy as a prize.

For a moment I thought he wouldn't eat the candy, because he didn't want to open it, or anything and that is something very strange hahaha, then I understood that he was saving it to show it to everyone when he got home, that gave me a lot of tenderness.

He was very happy and since then he is very excited about Christmas, even sometimes he doesn't want to go out because he says he wants to wait for Christmas at home, he asks all the time if it is Christmas, if Santa bought him the gift, he is very excited and I just hope to have the opportunity to fulfill his wish.

I will do my best to fulfill his wish, for now I only have a nice track, simple, but very nice and of quality material that I managed to buy in a promotion, I still need to buy some carts to complement it. But the problem is with the police robot as he calls it.

The police robot is a Transformers car with control that transforms into a robot, it has lights and sound, his cousin has one and this toy has been the reason for constant fights and tears of both children, I would be happy to buy him one, but I have not seen them in my city and the ones I have seen on the internet are very expensive. I will walk all over my city and go to Centro Merida, hoping to find at least a similar one. If I don't succeed I will buy him something else, because I know he will be happy with any toy we give him and then sometime next year I will surprise him with his robot.

I enjoy these activities, because they fill me with a lot of tenderness and make me remember my childhood, although mine were very different, there were no letters, no surprise gifts, but I enjoyed Christmas so much, that this was simply something that I never missed. My main illusion was waiting for the arrival of my uncles and cousins, who were basically my santas, because they always brought me gifts, but the best thing was to be able to share with them, another thing that made me very happy was to go shopping with my parents, they always bought me new clothes for these dates and toys, but I chose them according to the possibilities they had.

I think I had a very happy Christmas during my childhood and with the passage of time you realize that the important thing of these holidays was to share with family, I want my son to enjoy a happy Christmas, where he feels special, but above all loved. I want him to enjoy the lights, the toys, the food, the traditions, the traditions, the sharing with our loved ones.

I also want to teach you that even though material things give us well-being and satisfaction, they do not mean everything and that we do not need luxurious or extravagant things to enjoy the Christmas holidays.

Christmas can also have a face full of sadness and frustrations, for many this is the most difficult time of the year, where we feel even more pain for the loss of a loved one, where nostalgia invades us if we have not had the best year, but our children are not to blame for this, therefore, our obligation as parents is to fill us with courage and make them spend a few days happy and full of peace, regardless of whether we celebrate the holiday or not, They can perceive the social environment and for them it can be difficult to understand why they do not have or receive the same as other children, so that is where with all the love, we must make them see that the situation may be different from others and that perhaps this Christmas they will not receive the gift of their dreams, but at any time it will come, that when they do not receive gifts is for reasons beyond their control, that it is not their fault, it is not because they behaved badly or cried a lot, because many times, children may feel that they do not deserve it and that is very sad.

As parents, the situation is no different, we also feel sad because we can not give them everything we would like and that can affect us emotionally, but think that things will change positively in the future and plan recreational activities that do not require many expenses, be creative with gifts, we can even elaborate them ourselves, children get excited easily and value your effort.

I hope that my participation has been to your liking, thank you for coming this far, let me know in the comments your opinion about it and how you plan to enjoy Christmas with your children, remember to fill them with love every moment of their lives.

Hasta la próxima, bendiciones para todos.

Until next time, blessings to all.

Until next time, a million blessings to your families.
