Hive Open mic week 193 / Cover "Tu presencia es el cielo"

Les saludo, esperando que estén disfrutando de estos últimos días del año, a decir verdad todavía no supero lo rápido que han pasado los días, pero ni modo, estoy tratando de disfrutar estas cortas pero reconfortantes vacaciones.

Mis primeros recuerdos sobre mi fé hacia Dios los tengo gracias a mi amada abuela que aún tengo la bendición de tenerla a mi lado, es una mujer muy activa y que se dedicó muchas noches de mi infancia a hablarme sobre Jesús y además me cantaba tantas canciones hasta quedarme dormida.

Siento que mis palabras de agradecimiento a Dios quedarían cortas y que hay tantas canciones de alabanza a él que es imposible escoger sólo una que yo diga que es especial para mí, así que elegí la primera que me vino a la mente. Tener un refugio seguro en todo tiempo es lo mejor que puede tener el ser humano porque eso nos da la seguridad de que aunque el cielo este oscuro, en algún momento llegará la calma y eso es lo que significa Dios para mí.

I greet you, hoping you are enjoying these last days of the year, to tell you the truth I still can't get over how fast the days have passed, but no way, I am trying to enjoy these short but comforting vacations.

My first memories of my faith towards God are thanks to my beloved grandmother who I still have the blessing of having by my side, she is a very active woman who dedicated many nights of my childhood to talk to me about Jesus and also sang me so many songs until I fell asleep.

I feel that my words of thanks to God would fall short and that there are so many songs of praise to him that it is impossible to choose just one that I would say is special to me, so I chose the first one that came to my mind. Having a safe haven at all times is the best thing a human being can have because it gives us the assurance that even if the sky is dark, calm will come at some point and that is what God means to me.
