Changing Tides Timelapse

Yesterday morning I opened the window blinds of my new office space and was surprised by the view. To my surprise the boats in the harbour across the street all ran aground. I quickly realised that the harbour is one of changing tides.

It's quite an entertaining sight to have while working. Every once in a whil I see the scenery slightly change. It's a scale different from the human scale. You can't see the change instantaneously yet after the hours pass there's a change.

In a way our time scale is like a photograph in the time of the tides. Here's a shot taken from the harbour from the other side taken a few days ago:
