Hive Open Mic week 197 is already here. I'm so excited to be part of this week's edition. I bring you my new year greetings as this is the first time I'm posting on hive open mic this year. It's been quite an interesting and beautiful year so far, I give all glory to God for His awesomeness, favours and mercies.

I want to specially acknowledge the community's recent spotlight artist @generp for choosing a beautiful theme for us this week "fall in love". Love is a good and sweet thing to experience, it consists of feelings and emotions but far deeper than that is the commitment. Love is sacrifice, it is sharing, patient and seeks the good of others. To fall in love is to agree to all the responsibilities it brings.

I will be doing the cover of "I'm in love with Jesus " by New Direction, a group of gospel music ministers. The love of Jesus is not something that words can fully say. When I read about Him and ponder on His commitment to keeping and preserving me I start to smile.
