¡Saludos, queridos amigos de Hive Food! Me complace estar junto a ustedes una vez más, en esta oportunidad no para compartirles una receta como he hecho en ocasiones anteriores, sino para compartir mi 5.ª cata de cervezas y este lugar me pareció apropiado por ser todos amantes de la buena comida y la buena bebida.

Greetings, dear friends of Hive Food! I am pleased to be with you once again, this time not to share a recipe as I have done on previous occasions, but to share my 5th beer tasting and this place seemed appropriate because we are all lovers of good food and good drink.

La verdad es que probar diferentes tipos de cervezas, tanto nacionales como internacionales, ha despertado mi paladar y ojalá muchos tengan la oportunidad de probar diferentes sabores como yo lo he hecho. Hoy, vengo con dos cervezas nacionales de la línea Premium de Cervecería Polar, las Soleras, en esta ocasión con la Solera Light y la Solera Marzen.

The truth is that tasting different types of beers, both national and international, has awakened my palate and hopefully many will have the opportunity to try different flavors as I have done. Today, I come with two national beers from Cervecería Polar's Premium line, the Soleras, this time with the Solera Light and the Solera Marzen.

Como bien podemos conseguir en la página web de la cervecería polar, nos describe la Solera Light como: “la cerveza Premium de las light con bajo contenido en carbohidratos, lleva 4° grados de alcohol y un color amarillo no muy intenso.”

As we can well get on the website of the Polar Brewery, it describes us the Solera Light as: "the Premium beer of the light with low carbohydrate content, carries 4° degrees of alcohol and a not very intense yellow color."

Por otra parte, nos habla de la Solera Marzen como: “una cerveza tipo lager con 5° grados de alcohol caracterizada por su aroma a cebada malteada con notas tostadas.”

On the other hand, he tells us about Solera Marzen as: "a lager type beer with 5° degrees’ alcohol characterized by its malted barley aroma with toasted notes."

Lo más sorprendente y agradable en esta cata, fue el contraste de colores entre estas dos cervezas, una muy oscura y la otra bastante pálida, debo decir que mi favorita sin duda fue la Marzen, la más oscura, pues desbordaba en sabor.

The most surprising and pleasant thing in this tasting was the contrast of colors between these two beers, one very dark and the other quite pale, I must say that my favorite was undoubtedly the Marzen, the darker one, because it overflowed with flavor.
