¡Saludos, mis estimados amigos de Hive y de Espavlog! Hoy quiero que me acompañen en esta aventura que fue visitar el zoológico de Maracay, que fue reabierto en carnaval después de casi 10 años cerrado por remodelaciones.

Greetings, my dear friends of Hive and Espavlog! Today I want you to join me in this adventure that was to visit the Maracay Zoo, which was reopened in Carnival after almost 10 years closed for renovations.

El zoológico tiene un nuevo concepto en cuanto al cuidado de los animales y quedó evidenciado en el video que les muestro, además la mayoría de las especies de animales que allí habitan han sido rescatados y algunos devueltos a la naturaleza. Otro aspecto a resaltar es que están enfocados en la fauna nacional, por eso no se ven animales como elefantes o jirafas.

El zoológico forma parte también del programa de conservación de animales en peligro de extinción, como por ejemplo el caimán del Orinoco, y gracias al esfuerzo de todo el personal que allí labora, pudieron lograr la reproducción de la pareja de caimanes que se encuentran en el zoológico de manera efectiva.

The zoo has a new concept in terms of animal care and it was evidenced in the video I show you, plus most of the species of animals that live there have been rescued and some returned to nature. Another aspect to highlight is that they are focused on the national fauna, that is why animals such as elephants or giraffes are not seen.

The zoo is also part of the conservation program of endangered animals, such as the Orinoco caiman, and thanks to the efforts of all the staff working there, they were able to achieve the reproduction of the pair of caimans that are in the zoo effectively.

La verdad fue un lindo paseo, les comparto algunas otras fotos que no aparecen en el video y al final les dejaré el enlace del Instagram del parque para que sigan paso a paso sus labores de cuidado y mantenimiento de las especies que allí habitan, además de la reinserción en la naturaleza de nuevos animales.
