¡Saludos, queridos amigos de Hive Food! Estoy increíblemente feliz de regresar a lo que siempre me ha gustado: las catas de cerveza. Nos encontramos en el episodio 17, y hoy los invito a viajar conmigo hasta Europa, específicamente a España y a Holanda.

Greetings, dear friends at Hive Food! I'm incredibly happy to be back to what I've always loved: beer tastings. We are on episode 17, and today I invite you to travel with me to Europe, specifically to Spain and Holland.

Primero, comenzamos con la cerveza Mahou, bastante conocida por aquellos seguidores del fútbol, ya que es la patrocinadora oficial del equipo Real Madrid. Estuve indagando mucho sobre esta cerveza y solo conseguía impresiones negativas. Al parecer, no hay muchos fanáticos de las cervezas españolas en el mundo; sin embargo, quise probarla y fue un acierto total.

Siempre he creído que en cuestiones de gustos siempre hay un factor subjetivo. No necesariamente la cerveza que más nos guste tiene que ser la mejor, pero nos gusta. Esta Mahou es muy sabrosa a pesar de ser industrializada; tiene sabor, y el hecho de que no sea tan pálida realmente es un punto a destacar. No es la mejor del mundo, pero tiene su encanto y le conseguí varios puntos positivos que puedes apreciar en el video.

First, we start with Mahou beer, well known to soccer fans, as it is the official sponsor of the Real Madrid team. I did a lot of research on this beer and only got negative impressions. Apparently, there are not many fans of Spanish beers in the world; however, I wanted to try it and it was a total success.

I have always believed that in matters of taste there is always a subjective factor. Not necessarily the beer we like the most has to be the best, but we like it. This Mahou is very tasty despite being industrialized; it has flavor, and the fact that it is not so pale is a real highlight. It is not the best in the world, but it has its charm and I got several positive points that you can appreciate in the video.

Luego pasamos a la 8.6 y tenía mucha emoción y muchos nervios al probarla, porque nunca había probado una cerveza con tanto grado alcohólico. Pero me ganó la curiosidad. Esta cerveza tiene una particularidad, y es el añadido de azúcar que trae, más allá de la fermentación de sus cereales. Al probarla, la sentirás muy dulce y posiblemente hasta baja en alcohol, así que mucho cuidado. No es para sentarse a tomar muchas de ellas.

Esta cerveza se balancea muy bien entre lo dulce y los sabores con los que está impregnada. La verdad es que ese aroma a manzana que le sentí me gustó. No dejes de ver el video para que conozcas todos los detalles que encierra esta riquísima cerveza holandesa, 8.6.

Then we moved on to the 8.6 and I was very excited and nervous to try it, because I had never tasted a beer with such a high alcohol content. But my curiosity got the better of me. This beer has a special feature, and that is the addition of sugar, beyond the fermentation of its cereals. When you taste it, you will feel it very sweet and possibly even low in alcohol, so be very careful. It's not one to sit around and drink a lot of.

This beer balances nicely between the sweetness and the flavors it's infused with. I actually liked that apple aroma that I smelled in it. Be sure to watch the video to get to know all the details of this delicious Dutch beer, 8.6.
