Que tal, Hivers. Continuando con estas rondas del género salsa, quiero compartir con ustedes un tema de uno de los más grandes exponentes de este género, “Andy Montañez” quien tiene una voz característica y realmente espectacular y algo muy curioso me paso esta semana con este tema, el programa que uso (reaper) le costó muchísimo eliminar la línea de bajo del audio original, demostrando que con la salsa no se juega, estas líneas son tan complejas que se pasean hasta por cuatro y hasta cinco octavas, haciendo que sea difícil eliminar esta frecuencia para poder crear una pista sin bajo quedando algunos remanentes de la línea original de la grabación que se pueden notar. El tema de esta semana es “Casi te Envidio” una canción espectacularmente producida y con una calidad impresionante a nivel musical que es bien ejecutada por el proyecto “Son de la loma” de “Norberto Vélez” del cual planifiqué estas rondas. Cabe destacar que la línea de bajo de esta canción es realmente magnifica y muy difícil de no hacerse notar, además de una gran complejidad en ejecución y como dije en la presentación anterior, este género se toca con el Baby bass, pero realicé una adaptación con mi bajo eléctrico donde se puede notar cierta diferencia en el sonido, pero busqué una ecualización lo más parecida.

Continuing with these rounds of the salsa genre, I want to share with you a theme of one of the greatest exponents of this genre, "Andy Montañez" who has a characteristic voice and really spectacular and something very curious happened to me this week with this theme, the program I use (reaper) cost him a lot to remove the bass line from the original audio, demonstrating that you can't play with salsa, these lines are so complex that they go up to four and even five octaves, making it difficult to eliminate this frequency in order to create a track without bass, leaving some remnants of the original line of the recording that can be noticed. This week's track is "Casi te Envidio" a spectacularly produced song with an impressive musical quality that is well executed by the "Son de la loma" project of "Norberto Velez" from which I planned these rounds. It should be noted that the bass line of this song is really magnificent and very difficult not to be noticed, plus a great complexity in execution and as I said in the previous presentation, this genre is played with the Baby bass, but I made an adaptation with my electric bass where you can notice some difference in sound, but I looked for an equalization as close as possible.
