Today, I wish to take you on a short journey to the Afro-gospel world with a song I came across lately. It is a beautiful song by Dunsin Oyekan titled, AMAZING GOD. I know what you may be thinking, indeed there are a million songs with this same title but trust me, this one is super unique.

If I had come across the name before I listened to the original song, I would have probably skipped it because the name is obviously common. long story short, I feel something special about this song which is a fine mix of slow Afrobeat and slow jazz.

THE CONTENT

The content of the song, that is the message embedded in its lyrics expresses the magnificence of God in a way that I have never seen before. The composer tried to see the presence of God in all the beautiful and impressionable reality of nature like the Sun, Rainbow, Thunder, and so on. In essence, God's voice, Look, Smile, and so on can be felt through nature. what a beautiful concept.

THE MAKING

I simply picked up my rusty old acoustic guitar, played the corresponding chords and sang away my heart, singing Amazing God by Dunsin. I enjoy my self each time I sing it, therefore I also enjoyed my self while recording this video and I hope you do too.
