AFRITUNES WEEK 64||AN RnB VERSION OF FOR YOU, BY TENI FEATURING DAVIDO|| GUITAR RnB COVER|DONT MISS THE IMPROV SOLO

Hello lovely people, welcome to the 64th week of the Afritunes Musical Program, where Afro-oriented music and sounds are featured and celebrated on the Hive ecosystem. Kudos to the coordinators such as @ksam, @starstrings01, @Obaro, and @ovey10. You guys are doing great work.

Today, I woke up feeling creative and wanted to refine something. Coincidentally, the first Afrobeat song I listened to during my morning workout was the old but ever new song by Teni Makanaki titled "FOR YOU," featuring Davido, an important icon in the Nigerian music industry.

The song carries a vibrant percussion style that motivates you to dance and sing along, even if you don't know the lyrics. Instead of singing along today, I decided to create the backing melody with my acoustic guitar. However, this time, I introduced some jazzy RnB chord progressions, giving the song a different vibe.

In the accompanying video where I played the melody of the song, I infused some improvisational melodies to complement the extended chords. In essence, it's a whole new vibe, and I hope you find it interesting!
