Esta semana el tema propuesto por nuestra amiga @stefy.music es "Nuevo Nacimiento ". Nacer otra vez. Tener otra oportunidad. Esa ficción que aparece en las películas donde alguien fabrica una máquina del tiempo y va al pasado tratando de corregir equívocos, errores, malas decisiones, se nutre del sentimiento de inconformidad del ser humano que al mirar hacia atrás reflexiona " Si no hubiera hecho esto o aquello" o al contrario "Si lo hubiera hecho" "Si pudiera volver a nacer"

¿Cuál es la buena noticia? Que sí se puede nacer de nuevo. Que sí se puede renacer a una nueva vida, a una vida nueva, a una vida diferente. A una vida en el Espíritu.
¿Cómo se puede llegar a eso? Por el único Camino: por Cristo Jesús.

Esta canción la entonamos en mi iglesia durante la Cuaresma, período de 40 días que dedicamos a la reflexión en el sacrificio de Jesús por nosotros y al examen interno descubriendo nuestras debilidades para pedir a Dios que pase su mano transformadora por nuestra vida desde lo más profundo de nuestro ser.

Se refiere al católico que no es religioso (sacerdote, monje, religiosa, monja de clausura) pero dedica su vida desde su realidad laica, desde su familia y profesión específica a vivir ese "ser cristiano" en forma forzosamente genuina, que asume el compromiso de evangelizar, de mantener contacto diario con Dios por medio de la oración, que cada día va aprendiendo más de la Palabra de Dios porque se nutre de ella, que participa de la Eucaristía Dominical y recibe en la comunión el Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo con veneración, devoción, gratitud y respeto. Que vive el cristianismo día a día, momento a momento, nadando contra corriente porque está inserto en este mundo que todos sabemos que va en otra dirección.
¿Que vivir el cristianismo en este mundo actual que apoya, aplaude y vitorea el pecado es muy difícil? Cierto ¡Pero es que siempre ha sido difícil y por eso nuestro Señor nos habló de la puerta estrecha y el camino angosto. Pero...también prometió:
