Continuing the adventure of Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness from the previous chapter I reloaded a little before falling in the closed room through the window on the roof and thanks to this I remembered something very typical of these titles but that I had forgotten and is the fact that many times trying to be precise in the movement or in the jump makes a huge difference between the amount of life you can lose and that's because this time when I slid on the roof I got to the end of the window and when I entered the room I didn't lose any health compared to the previous time where by falling in the beginning of the window I got to the end of the window and when I entered the room I didn't lose any health. That's because this time when I slid down the ceiling I reached the end of the window and when I entered the room I didn't lose any health compared to the previous time where by falling at the beginning of the window I lost practically two thirds of health and after watching the past gameplay I realized that there was an ammunition also on the floor which will be very useful for when I have to eliminate the enemies.
Something that I found quite annoying at the end of this level was the sniper who was shooting at me from a helicopter and this is due to how absurdly accurate he was, practically every shot he made hit Lara and her health dropped pretty fast, but luckily I couldn't shoot in all areas and there were places where I had no vision but there were also other places where it seemed impossible that he was able to shoot and if he did, even at one point I could assure that he shot through the wall and the projectile hit very close to Lara. Fortunately in the final moments of the level he simply stopped shooting which is quite understandable because at the end there were sections where you could not advance very fast and even a moment where you had to jump from one building to another and if he was still shooting the sniper at every instant you would most likely end up dying or making the jump wrong and end up dying anyway.
When completing this level I discovered something that I really didn't remember in the least of this title and it is the fact that there are direct dialogues with the other characters and even being able to be able to answer them between two different options, although I'm still not sure if the different options of dialogues that we can answer have any impact on the adventure or simply the characters with whom we are talking tell us a different answer according to our choice and then return to the same preset dialogue and everything ends up happening in the same way.
Something curious is how in such a short level there was a time limit or a limit of actions to collect items and escape before the police arrived and thus have a Game Over, I thought I could explore everything calmly and check all the drawers and corners, but doing that the police arrived and I had to reload the game. Something that I did not like so much and even confused me was the change between levels and scenes because it was so abrupt and without showing how Lara got to the next level that for a moment I thought it had happened in Bug and the game had skipped a level.
Although the mechanics of the dialogues and even being able to answer is interesting and useful to learn more about the story and everything we are doing or looking for, it is used so often and with such extensive dialogues that it ends up being boring and even exhausting, I feel that much of the level has been just talking to other characters and it seems more like a text adventure or a Visual Novel style video game than a Tomb Raider title, I hope that in the next levels the frequency of dialogues will be much less and instead the action will increase and also more enemies will start to appear with which I will have to fight, although at the same time I remember that the combat in this title was not the best and most likely when the time comes to fight several enemies or even bosses it will become very tedious and somewhat annoying to control Lara. In the same way I found this title very interesting and although its movement could be better it still maintains the typical essence of mystery and difficulty of the Classic Tomb Raider that causes so much nostalgia.
