Hive Open Mic 97 | Lost - Heart of Jesus

Hello Music Lovers of Hive Open Mic community! I hope we are all doing well!

This is the 97th week of our ever-bubbling Music event on Hive Platform, Hive Open Mic. This week's Theme is "Lost". The theme was selected by our recent Spotlight artist @andiesongmusic. It is indeed a privilege.

In truth, there are so many songs to select from, that reflect this theme of "Lost". Just few days ago I re-watched the 2017 animated movie, Coco. I think this is the 10th time I'm watching that interesting movie. When I listened to Miguel's rendition of Remember Me to Mama Coco, I felt, o No! This will fit into this theme. (The song was originally sung by By Benjamin Bratt)

But then, I felt the urge to do something different!!!

In our world today, many of us have lost our way. It is so sad that when we visit our social media pages, we are immediately welcomed by gruesome and heartbreaking news. News that reflects the evil in the heart of men: Murder, Massacre, Ritual Killings, Kidnapping for Ransom, Sex-tapes Blackmail, Sexual Abuse and much more.

Indeed, WE HAVE LOST OUR WAY!

We need guidance!
We need direction!

We can try our best, but we cannot do it alone! We need to unite ourselves to Christ, to give us the strength to forge ahead.

He will help us dispel the hatred and wickedness in our hearts!

He will touch our cold and ungrateful hearts, and make them like His.

He will teach us to be merciful and loving!

With Him, we can never be lost!
