5
I wish to share a Jazz Standard piece titled TAKE FIVE. This piece was arranged by Dave Brubeck. It has an unusual time Signature of 5/4 which makes it somewhat confusing, difficult and unique.
Well, it was also difficult for me ๐ ๐ and I had hard time trying to get it right. Well, I still made multiple errors ๐ฅฒ Please pardon me, I'm still learning ๐
Since I couldn't create a 5/4 beat, I decided to play it free hand (without beat).
I played the guitar chords first and it served as my backing track. But, it was too fast ๐ ๐ ๐ So i tried my best ๐ฅฒ to do the little I can.
Here are the Chords and the Chord progression that I used:
Ebmin7 - Bbmin7 (X 4, 8, 12...)
Abmin7 - Db7 - Bbmin7 - Ebmin7 - Abmin7 - Db7 - F#maj7 - Eaddb5/G
Abmin7 - Db7 - Bbmin7 - Ebmin7 - Abmin7 - Db7 - Fdim7
