    About :

Hello dear friends of the Hive Open Mic community! Week #177, with the theme "Praise/Alabanza". This week my participation will be with an old acapella hymn from 1978, based on Psalm 18:1, entitled "Te amo, Rey", by the composer Laurie Klein, which I will interpret in a Spanish version and three voices.
I chose this song, because it seems to me that, in it, is clearly expressed the reasons that Christian singers have to interpret praises to our Father, to worship God with their voices, the perfect instrument he gave us, and what we hope that this song will be for him, "fragrant smell", as the song says "rejoice and listen to my King".
I knew this song many years ago, I found it in one of the hymn books (most of them, with scores of hymns written for mixed voice choirs) that I collected a long time ago and that I treasure with much affection, with which I began to read scores and to study music, in a formal way.
In addition, I want to thank all the members of this community who allow the participation of singers and the dissemination of Christian music of all kinds, vocal, acapella, instrumental and others.
Last but not least, I have accompanied my video (Source), with a beautiful view of the National Park "La Llovizna", located in Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar state.
    I hope you enjoy it.
    Here are the lyrics

    [Chorus]
    I love You Lord
    And I lift my voice
    To worship You
    O my soul rejoice
    Take joy my King
    In what You hear
May it be a sweet sweet sound
    In Your ear

    Para adorarte, mi Salvador.
    Me gozo en ti y te alabo, mi Dios;
Dulce sea mi canto a ti, oh Señor.

    (Version original)
Te amo, Rey, y levanto mi voz
Para adorar y gozarme en ti.
    Regocíjate y escucha, mi Rey:
Que sea un dulce sonar para ti.
