Before having a bike I always rode a bike and when I got my first bike (Which is the one I have now) I learned that I must take care of it a lot, it is something that you should always keep in mind to take care of it, since it is already doing the same function of the bike has many improvements such as speed and a little less effort to ride, but something you should keep in mind and is that you should always take care of it and do maintenance is what I come to show you now.
Algunas fallas:
Some faults
When running it turns itself off.
When you leave it off for a long time it does not turn on for the room.
When you leave it off for a short time it does not turn on because of the room.
The headlight light loses power and picks up power when you accelerate.
Estos problemas son indicios de que hay algún problema con la corriente o el voltaje de tu moto, es lo que debemos hoy revisar y te mostraré algunos pequeños tips de las cosas que puedes revisar si Estas son las fallas que presenta tu moto.
These problems are indications that there is a problem with the current or voltage of your bike, is what we must check today and I'll show you some small tips of things you can check if these are the faults that presents your bike.
The first thing to do is to remove the seat from the bike and remove the battery cover, so that our bike is completely free and then we return to our review and our inspection properly.
- With a multimeter we will place it on the continuity scale, then we will remove each terminal of our battery and we will place the negative on the negative cable and the positive on the positive cable and vice versa, nowhere it has to mark continuity. Then we will place our multimeter in scale of voltage and we will place the negative in the negative and the positive in the positive of the battery, this will show us that the battery must have 12 volts.
- The following is to take soda, water, wire brush and a sandpaper, then we will take each screw that hold the terminals in the battery and we will begin to sand them and to put water with soda, all this with the purpose of being able to remove all the sulfated and the oxide to our screws.
- Also we will go to the part where the acid is introduced in our motorcycle, we will raise each one of the suckers and we will observe that our battery has all the complete acid, if it is not thus we must place the acid to him.
- The same thing we did with water, soda, sandpaper and wire brush we will do with the battery terminals, this to clean the oxide and remove the sulfate.
- We will also make this same process in each terminal of the motorcycle, each cable of positive and negative of current that goes towards the battery of our motorcycle to be able to remove completely all the sulfated one that dirtied our motorcycle.
- These are some of the things you can check on your bike to repair it, there are more I will show you soon.
