Hello! First I want to send a greeting to the @vdc community and thank them that they somehow made me stay on the honor roll of week 6, even so, all the participants know that the richest thing is to sing and share music among us. Thank God our talents will always be rewarded on the platform because we continue working to improve.

This week I will pay tribute to the Lara State, since there is a beautiful Venezuelan waltz called "How A Star Cries", a melody composed by Antonio Carrillo, from Lare, and they say that she was named by the priest Carlos Borges one night when they serenaded her at the priest's house in the Concepción Church, since when they played the piece she still had no name.

Since then Many lyrics have been written for this song, but I am going to sing my favorite, since I am one of the biggest fans of the Contrapunto Quintet and thanks to them this waltz came to me.

I recorded the video with my Alcatel Cameo X and the photography I edited with PhotoDirector 2020. I hope you like my post for this week. I also take the opportunity to greet and thank the @la-colmena community who made me a very special mention for my participation last week, it was really very pleasant and motivating. ¡Hola! Primero quiero enviar un saludo a la comunidad @vdc y agradecer que de alguna manera me hicieron quedar en el cuadro de honor de la semana 6, aún así todos los participantes sabemos que lo más rico es cantar y compartir música entre nosotros. Gracias a Dios nuestros talentos siempre serán recompensados en la plataforma porque seguimos trabajando para mejorar.

Esta semana haré homenaje al Estado Lara, ya que hay un hermoso vals venezolano llamado "Como Llora Una Estrella", una melodía compuesta por el larense Antonio Carrillo y que cuentan que fue nombrada por el sacerdote Carlos Borges una noche que le llevaron serenata a la casa del cura en la Iglesia Concepción, ya que cuando tocaron la pieza aún no tenía nombre.

Desde entonces se han escrito muchas letras para esta canción, pero voy a cantar mi favorita, ya que soy uno de los más grandes fan del Quinteto Contrapunto y gracias a ellos este vals llegó a mí.
