I welcome you all to the Afritunes community where hiver celebrates African music on hive.

I am singing the song Capable God by Judy Kay.

While I was introducing the song, a couple of things came to my mind. I will start with the death of my cousin Blessing. I cried when I heard the news about her death after struggling with kidney failure.

Everything God does is good. This is what has been on my mind throughout the weekend till now. I guess the holy spirit laid that word in my heart to comfort me.

We prayed and had faith that she would be fine. Had it been we couldn't provide any money for the medical bills, I would have said that lack of money caused the death. However, we were able to raise some money and she was undergoing treatment and even did dialysis which we thought would make her better to an extent only for her to pass away.

God understands, he sees the beginning from the end and like I said earlier, everything God does is good.

I have dreams I hope to achieve them by the grace of God.

For a moment, my cousin's death made me feel like God doesn't answer prayers and there is no point in having faith. But, I am guiding my heart by meditating on God's word.

Aside from my cousin's death, other painful news was revealed last weekend. What can I do?

I can only accept the reality and remind myself of the fact that God knows the end from the beginning. His plans for us all are good.

Whether something happens in our favour or not, it doesn't change the fact that God is the alpha and Omega, the sovereign one.

I know I can still trust him completely.
