I welcome you again to my blog and another edition of the Hive Learners Creative Sunday.

I have been struggling to write for a few days now, but I have tried to keep pushing despite the challenges.

I thought to participate in today's creative Sunday but wasn't sure of which song to sing until I remembered that I was rehearsing the song 'All of Me' a few days ago but didn't get the chance to record and publish it. So I decided to record it today and publish it for today's creative Sunday. I'm glad I took the time to record the song and share it with you all. I'm looking forward to hearing feedback.

Today I continued rehearsal before recording it, but someone came in and ruined my mood by telling me I shouldn't sing a worldly song.

Then I paused and couldn't get the right words out. What could be wrong with me singing a love song that didn't contain any bad lyrics? What made the song 'All of Me' so worldly that made that person say that it was wrong for me to be singing it? I was so pissed off. I defended myself by explaining that it may not be a gospel song, but that doesn't make it a bad song to sing, besides it doesn't contain any bad lyrics. I still couldn't believe what the other person had said. I was so angry that I left the place without saying another word. I was hurt and felt judged for something that made no sense.

I got so pissed, and before I left the scene, we argued for over 5 minutes.

After they ruined my mood, I changed my mind about singing and packed all I had prepared to use for my recording.

The next thing I did was open a K-drama series on my PC and lay on my couch to watch the series, and I fell asleep while watching it. I woke up a few hours later feeling refreshed and decided to do the recording. I dressed up and searched for the instrumental on YouTube.

Good thing, that there was still power when I decided to record my cover again. I connected my PC's Bluetooth to my Hisonic Home Theatre and audio system and played the instrumental directly as I sang along. After recording, I drafted my post and finally published it on threespeak and in the Hive learners community as my entry for today's creative Sunday.

I had to record it twice because, in the first recording, the volume of the instrumental sounded louder than my voice. I made a little adjustment to the volume and recorded it again before editing it with my preferred video editing app. I also made sure to double-check the audio quality before finalizing the video. Finally, I added a few effects and transitions to give it a professional look.
